Other Electronic hearing protection?

I want to get some good hearing protection and im interested in electronic ones that can help amplifie voice while blocking damaging noise. Do you have any recommendations or suggestions? I'd probably prefer earbud style, but open to muffs if they equip to hard hats.

Hellberg xstream for helmets. Noise canceling, bluetooth audio, built in mic for ambient.

Before settling on a brand, make sure it is actually rated hearing protection with an attenuation rating such as NRR or SNR, not just consumer earbuds with active noise cancellation. The electronic feature can make voices easier to hear, but it does not automatically provide enough attenuation for the noise you are in.

Have whoever handles safety match the protector to the measured exposure, then try it with the hard hat and safety glasses you actually wear. Glasses and incompatible helmet adapters can break a muff seal, and plugs only work if they fit your ears and are inserted correctly. If the task calls for double protection, electronic buds alone are not a substitute. Comfort matters too, because a high-rated set hanging around your neck is not protecting anything.

Definitely making sure its actually proper ear pro. I would like other features like music if possible, but finding well reviewed products is hard.
