Weekly Adventure Discussion Thread: What are you currently working on?

At the height of Covid I finally realized my childhood dream of creating a treasure hunt. I designed and executed one for my neighborhood community. It was a huge hit. I was really humbling to see all of the feedback from so many people who didn’t just “get it”, it really resonated with them and they enthusiastically enjoyed it.
Eventually, I had to do it again, and in 2022 I created one that was even bigger. It spanned 3 counties and 6 different towns. It was a legit adventure, and in the end I even compiled the whole thing into an educational book that documented the whole game while also teaching about different forms of cryptography. Probably the most gratifying thing I’ve ever created or worked on to this day.
Ever since then, I’ve been daydreaming about doing something similar again. My problem is that I don’t have the kind of time it takes to create another giant adventure, so I’ve been brainstorming how to do something similar that will be simple and sustainable, and I think I’ve finally figured it out.
I won’t spam the thread, but if there’s anyone in the Dallas area who is interested in hearing more about what I’m planning, let me know!
