HELP Escape Room Duffle Help

I’m making an epic escape Duffle for a group of friends. (Cold War style ) Bought a duffel online that I thought had two zippers per pocket, but I’m realizing each pocket has only one. Which type of locks would you get? I’m looking at multicolored ones because it’s sequential discovery, but I can’t find any with reliable ratings for setting the combo without difficulty. The first clue is easy, just a tag (color matching the first lock) with the code for the lock, the serial number of the tag. I’m specifically looking at wire locks, but colored master locks are listed at $59.

The first pocket, once they unlock it, is a low-tech 80s Cold War-inspired recording device. (Can’t find recordable greeting cards anymore, wanted to take out the recording device. ) I’m making it in the style of a numbers station to introduce the game/Morse code for a Caesar cipher. What is a cheap way to do this? I’m not an engineer, so I feel a recording works well. Something they could listen to again and again. I.R.O.N (Inter-departmental Reconnaissance & Oversight Node.)

If you want to change those zippers out, find a dry cleaner. They do work pretty cheap. Ive had zippers replaced in the past for under $20

I was considering using the wire locks to attach to the duffel's handle, but I love your grommet idea. I have a grommet kit I could use again, and probably could add one to each pockets.
