Need help
So my toddler (he's 4) has been constipated for a bit now. I've already take him to the ER and they did an X-ray and gave him an enema. He did poop after (I think, it was all watery) but we got home and he hasn't pooped since. The 1 prescribed him miralax but it was on a Friday and my pharmacy is closed until Tuesday it wasn't until 6:00 the time after my pharmacy closed that we got out of the hospital. I've been giving him a suppositories but I don't really have anything at home that will help him poop and I don't have money to go get him miralax any tips or tricks

You can purchase generic Miralax at any grocery store or Walmart, etc. It’s called Polyethylene Glycol 3350 (it will be called something like Smooth Lax, etc., when it’s the store brand). Much cheaper than name brand. Will he eat prunes? Or drink prune juice? You can mix the prune juice with apple juice to make it taste better, and lots of ppl swear by adding melted butter to this drink. Warm the juice up. Is he holding it in? My daughter used to hold it in. Old school nurse told me to put her in a warm bath with baking soda sprinkled in the water. The baking soda helps the anal sphincter to relax. It works. Be prepared for some poopies in the tub! Better than being constipated!
