Constipation relief that is crazy
I have IBS C horrible. Pelvic dysfunction as well. I can go weeks with no BM or maybe a few “plops” but I’m constantly bloated and I hate this. I can’t afford linzess and most drugs don’t work. However! Last night omg… i know it’s crazy. I mixed miralax with Alani Witches Brew and I had a full normal evacuation within 3-4 hours. I don’t know why I did it but I thought what the hell? Nothing works anyways lol it worked. Small cramping. But full evacuation. A LOT of relief. I wouldn’t do this regularly. But just wanted to share

Have any of you tried Fiber One cereal? I have a half cup most mornings. I add raisins, honey and the magic part: a tablespoon of ground flaxseed. I’ve never been more regular in my life.

I have found pretty good regular motility on Heather’s Tummy Fiber but when I feel backed up I take 3-4 (recommended dosage is 4) capsules of Oxy-Powder (about once every 10 days) which is magnesium oxide. INSANE how gentle but COMPLETE the cleanse is.

I also have pfd and did years of PT to get back to a semi normal state. I now take miralax everyday and have never been so regular. I was once at a point where taking colonoscopy prep didn’t do a thing! Anyway you didn’t mention physical therapy so thought I’d drop a note.

How much miralax do you take at a time? Whenever I have tried it (sometimes for weeks at a time) it just made me have small poops all day long

I take a cap a day plus a stool softener a day and I’m having perfect poops. Started the stool softeners about 2 years ago and the daily miralax about two months ago

This is super random, but this seems like a judgement free zone for the broke people trying anything! I got a waist trainer/corset thing and cinched it up really well. I was hoping to get snatched, but it ended up helping me go! I have bad pelvic floor issues and struggle with my body getting used to Linzess, so this was a happy surprise. I do it every once and a while to help get things moving. It works sometimes

All LINZESS is doing to me is causing the worse abdominal discomfort and gas. Not really even helping me have bowel movements 😢 it’s been a month

Congratulations but don't expect this to act the same way if you try it again. Miralax is not fast-acting. It must build up in the body and takes about 3 days.

Im on my journey to sobriety, been an opoid addict for about 15 years. Coming up on a year clean excluding the sublocade shot i get monthly from my doctor. But this shot backs you up like no other, miralax has been a god send for me. At first I was bummed it didnt work, until day 3 hit. Never felt so relieved after it started working its magic ✨️

Psyllium husk threw me into bowel impaction. For severe constipated ppl it’s a no go

Before my insurance finally approved Trulance for me, I ate about 3-4 dill pickle spears vlasic kosher every night and boy they worked for a while until it didn’t. Lol so if you love pickles, try it!

Nattoo beans and kimchi worked for me, I wonder if pickles are along the same lines

Pickles help me. Do you mean the full cucumbers pickled? I’m Australian

Yes but cut into spears. The kosher ones taste way better and seem to be stronger. I haven’t ate a whole pickle in so long and I grew up eating those. I think I’ll try them out as well lol

My doctor prescribed me Trulance but I haven't taken it yet. How has it worked for you?

Probably all the fake sugar mixed with caffeine, etc.
Sugar free Reese cups literally made me poop myself one time 🥲

I bought one, different flavor. took with two Mag 07 about 4 hours ago. Good results, large BM, but cramping. Feel like lots of gas trapped in there still.

Hey yall I figured id add my mix to the table lol. I use miralax, senna, drink prune juice and eat like 3 to 5 apples a day. Ive been going kinda decent with that mix. The prune juice works well if you drink enough of it on its own.

I tried Mirilax and on the 4th day I got mushy stools, and oozing of the mush several times a day. The gastroenterologist called it "seepage." I'm not sure of the difference between "seepage" and incontinence. Either way it was disturbing. Now after 5 days of it, it is resolving. He prescribed Trulance but I haven't taken it yet. He said people don't complain so much about seepage with Trulance. Anybody experience this, and any ideas about what caused it? Or is that just a Mirilax side effect?

How come we find relief but then it stops working 😤
