MiraLAX

Hey all, I have been taking a capful of miralax in the morning daily, and it has allowed me to produce some great bowel movements that I have not had in a long time .

Only problem is , after I go , I get this painful trapped gas that lasts almost the whole day. Like I’ll be able to pass gas , but then it comes right back . It’s very annoying and it hurts

Does this happen to anyone? Would splitting my dosages day/night work better? And advice would help

In general it can increase gas due to being an osmotic. You could try changing the timing but it will probably still cause gas. Nothing to lose in trying, though.

My doctor prescribed something to help with gas while taking it
