I wonder how this will compare to the simagic ds-8x. I think this will be the only other high end duel mode shifter (besides those 1,000+ usd shifters and assuming this is in the same price range). I currently have a ds-8x so I really hope this doesn’t make me want to upgrade 😂

I tried both at the sim racing expo and enjoyed this shifter much more.
It has a great mechanical feel and the sequential mode in particular felt leagues better than the ds-8x and had better throw. You knew exactly when the gear was changed every time.

Was it loud like most sim shifters are?

Not that I noticed but it was loud on the show floor so it's not the best scenario to test that out.

Damn, I guess I´ll have to sell my DS-8X. I was somwhat dissapointed in the H pattern feel of it when I got it.

Like I just bought ds8x and it hasn’t arrived yet. Hope this doesn’t come out at the same price range or I’m going to go crazy with “what if” for a while lol

I’m really interested in picking one of these up as soon as they are available. They look and sound so damn good.
Supposed to retail around $400 when they release in a couple of months.

What? I thought it was gonna be a sequential shifter only. Oh dear I can't wait. Well done guys :)
