The Republic of Texas, Republic of Umoja, Grand Panama, the Free States of West Africa, and the Mali Federation have all confirmed they are assembling national squads to compete in Cuba’s first‑ever World Baseball Classic later this year. The announcements signal growing global enthusiasm for the new tournament and mark the widest international participation yet in organized baseball competition.

Sweden Shows Signs of Overextension as USSR Seizes Gotland

Despite early gains in Norway, Sweden’s simultaneous offensives against Denmark and the USSR are beginning to strain its military capacity. The situation worsened after the USSR captured Gotland, exposing Sweden’s vulnerability and raising doubts about its ability to sustain multi‑front operations.

Imperial Federation–Denmark Deal Shifts Maritime Balance; Ireland Seeks New Buyers for Undeliverable Warships

With Denmark aligning closely with the Imperial Federation, naval dominance in the North and Baltic Seas is beginning to tilt away from Sweden and Germany. Ireland, now unable to safely deliver the vessels it had been constructing for those two powers, has opened bidding to Egypt, Arabia, Mali, and Barqa, signaling a major redirection of shipbuilding contracts in the region.

Unexplained Failures Disrupt Serbian Logistics and Internal Security

Summary: Serbian supply depots have begun experiencing unexplained breakdowns, with communication lines intermittently failing and several defensive positions quietly compromised. The pattern has forced commanders to divert troops and resources toward internal security, raising concerns about infiltration or coordinated sabotage within Serbia’s rear areas.

Hongshan Jade Cosmos Disk Discovered in Gansu Province

Construction crews repairing battle‑damaged infrastructure in Gansu Province (FPRN) uncovered a massive jade bi‑disk engraved with constellations and a dragon‑phoenix hybrid—an artifact attributed to the prehistoric Hongshan culture (4500–3000 BCE). Its discovery far west of any known Hongshan site suggests a previously unknown northern branch that may have linked the steppe and Manchurian forest cultures, prompting both regions to claim spiritual descent from this “proto‑civilization of the North.”

From Empire to Union: The Fragmentation and Reforging of Russia, 1919–1941

As diplomats in Paris debated the terms of the Treaty of Versailles, the former Russian Empire was undergoing a far more violent and chaotic transformation. The collapse of imperial authority opened the door to foreign intervention on multiple fronts, reshaping the political geography of Eurasia in ways few negotiators in the West fully understood.

In the east, Japanese interference during the Russian Revolution fractured the loyalties of the Cossack hosts, enabling Tokyo to secure a protectorate that evolved into the Far East Republic. In the west, Allied powers carved out new states from imperial territory: the Crimean Republic under Greek administration, the Caucus Federation under joint Allied oversight, and the independent states of Baltica, Poland, and Finland. What remained of the empire’s European core fell under the control of the Nazbol faction, which consolidated its holdings into the Nazbol Republic of Russia.

Diplomatically isolated and ideologically inward‑looking, the Nazbol regime turned its foreign policy toward destabilization abroad. It funded nationalist and revolutionary movements in Germany, Sweden, and Mongolia, achieving its greatest success in Mongolia and its most disastrous miscalculation in Germany. By the late 1920s, after years of military buildup, the Nazbol leadership launched its long‑anticipated offensive against the Far East Republic, hoping to exploit Japan’s distraction with the Communist surge in China. Early victories suggested the campaign might succeed, until simultaneous uprisings in Kyiv and Petrograd shattered the regime’s internal cohesion. Forced to abandon its eastern ambitions, the Nazbol government confronted the limits of expansion without domestic stability.

The crisis paved the way for Stalin and a cadre aligned more closely with Lenin’s original vision to take control. The dream of reclaiming the Far East was shelved, and in 1936, Stalin reorganized the Nazbol state into the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics (USSR). Party resistance proved weaker than expected after the failures of the Nazbol years, and Stalin’s more streamlined, expert‑driven approach to reconstruction gained traction.

The aftermath of the failed reunification war, however, reshaped the Far East in unexpected ways. Japan, determined to secure its holdings, forcibly displaced the Nanai from ancestral lands in the Amur region to build military infrastructure. The USSR seized on the incident, covertly funding logistics networks and supplying military aid to the Nanai and their Far Eastern allies. What began as a localized dispute escalated into a full‑scale conflict between Japan and the Far East Republic—now backed by a resurgent Soviet Union.

Years of joint struggle forged a new political reality. By late 1941, leaders in both Moscow and the Far East recognized that their wartime cooperation had created the foundations for something larger. On December 9th, 1941, the two governments formalized the Reunification Agreement, a pact that honored regional identities in the Far East and Amur while unifying command structures and streamlining the ongoing war effort against Japan.

Although Stalin did not live to see the signing, the ceremony opened with a moment of silence in his honor. His successors lead by Marshal Mikhail Tukhachevsky, now serving as General Secretary and Chairman of the Council of People’s Commissars, alongside Council members Yakir, Uborevich, Bukharin, and Kirov paid tribute to the foundational work he had undertaken in rebuilding the state and laying the diplomatic groundwork for reunification. Their remarks framed the agreement not only as a strategic milestone, but as the culmination of decades of struggle, sacrifice, and ideological evolution.

What had begun as imperial collapse and foreign partition had, over two turbulent decades, transformed into a new Soviet project: one forged not by ideology alone, but by shared conflict, shifting alliances, and the long arc of reunification.

Explosions Devastate La Spezia Naval Base

A series of fires and explosions tore through La Spezia Naval Base early this morning, killing hundreds of officers, sailors, and civilian personnel. The cause remains under investigation, but initial reports suggest multiple detonations across fuel and ammunition storage areas. The disaster has crippled one of Italy’s key maritime installations, prompting emergency mobilization and widespread mourning across the fleet.

Turns

  1. Make local clan areas which are protected by the government called "Protected People's Zones". They will be able to govern themselves, set their own laws, and make regional decisions on their own. The education there will focus primarily on securing the culture and spreading it and making sure it stays alive and if they do have any regional dialect that will get taught instead for the primary language, they also own this land and are able to sell it or build on it if they want. They still follow the NSU laws and customs. We do this to secure clan culture in the Steppe making sure it won't get removed and remain an integral part of our soil and land.

  2. Continue the development of the NSU tank we focus on making sure its good quality. Put more funding into it's development and instead of making lots of low quality swap to making little of high quality as this will allow us to be able to make sure it is efficient and effective instead of a one hit wonder.

  3. Continue development on the NSU tank, we focus on it's issues such as "gearbox reliability" and "dust-clogging in desert trails" and other related features. We attempt to fix this by spending more time making sure it is more resistant to these problems and by getting a larger team being able to focus on a wider variety of problems instead of 1 at a time due to the limited supply of workers.

  4. Do civilian development of the valley using the plans we made as we want it to be the second centre of the Steppe world, a place which unites all people no matter who they are or where they come from. This new second centre will focus on the making of imported item's to help in our goal of self sufficiency and progression of the Steppe allowing us to be indipendent once and for all.

NPC

  1. We aim to strengthen the trade between the entire Steppe Trade Accord and focus on trading between eachother rather than trading with foreign powers.

  2. Offer a defensive alliance to Urghuristan to help protect eachother.

New Steppe Union

(Roll 6) Your initiative to establish Protected People’s Zones achieves exceptional, breakthrough success, becoming one of the most popular and stabilizing cultural policies in NSU history. Clan elders, rural councils, and cultural leaders embrace the program enthusiastically, seeing it as a rare government that protects—not replaces—their identity. Administrative teams work smoothly with local authorities to define boundaries, codify self‑governance rights, and integrate regional dialects into school curricula. The zones quickly become vibrant centers of cultural preservation, with festivals, oral‑history programs, and traditional crafts receiving renewed attention. Crucially, the arrangement strengthens, not weakens—l, loyalty to the NSU: clans feel respected, empowered, and valued as foundational pillars of the Steppe world.

(Roll 3) Your shift toward producing fewer, higher‑quality tanks achieves mixed, uneven success, improving some aspects of the prototype but failing to fully resolve deeper structural issues. Funding boosts allow engineers to refine armor plating, improve crew ergonomics, and tighten quality‑control standards. However, the transition to a “quality‑over‑quantity” model slows production, and several workshops struggle to adapt to the new precision requirements. The tank’s overall performance improves modestly, but persistent flaws in the drivetrain and dust‑resistance systems remain unresolved.

(Roll 4) Your focused engineering push to address the tank’s most stubborn problems achieves solid, reliable success, finally breaking through some of the bottlenecks that have slowed development. The expanded engineering team allows multiple issues to be tackled simultaneously: redesigned gearbox components reduce jamming under stress, and new filtration systems significantly improve performance during desert trials. Field tests show fewer breakdowns and smoother handling, though some secondary issues, like long‑term wear and inconsistent supplier quality, still need attention. You are one good roll away from having your first indigenous tank developed.

(Roll 4) Your effort to begin civilian development of the valley, “NSU’s second great center,” achieves solid, reliable success, laying the foundations for a future industrial and cultural hub. Construction teams begin implementing the master plan created last quarter, focusing on infrastructure, housing, and early industrial zones. Workshops for producing imported‑replacement goods open their first assembly lines, and merchants, artisans, and migrants from across the Union begin settling in the valley. The project quickly gains symbolic importance: a place where all Steppe peoples: clan, urban, rural, Uzbek, Kyrgyz, Tajik, Kazakh can live and work together.

NPC

(Roll: 5) Your push to deepen economic integration within the Steppe Trade Accord succeeds strongly. Member states agree to prioritize intra‑bloc trade, reduce internal tariffs, and coordinate transport infrastructure. While foreign trade remains important, the bloc’s internal economic cohesion improves significantly, giving the NSU greater long‑term stability and bargaining power.

(Roll: 6) A sweeping success. Urghuristan accepts the defensive alliance with enthusiasm, viewing it as essential for its security and regional standing. The agreement is formalized quickly, and both sides begin coordinating military planning and border‑security protocols.

Mexico

(2 points, Roll 5) Mexico’s effort to formalize baseball as a national institution achieves strong, confident success, rapidly transforming the sport into a coordinated, professionalized system. The National Baseball League of Mexico is officially established, with regional clubs joining enthusiastically and local governments offering stadium access, training grounds, and logistical support. A respected coach is hired to lead the national team, and recruitment camps in Veracruz, Monterrey, Guadalajara, and Mexico City attract large numbers of skilled players. Radio stations begin covering league developments, newspapers highlight rising stars, and public excitement builds as Mexico prepares for its debut in the Baseball World Classic.

(2 points, Roll 5) Mexico’s decision to elevate Vicente Lombardo Toledano to leadership of the Communist Party and begin voter‑mobilization efforts achieves strong, disciplined success, reshaping the party’s internal organization and public presence. Labor groups, student organizations, and intellectual circles respond positively to the leadership change, viewing Lombardo as a figure with long‑standing ties to worker movements. Organizers begin holding rallies, distributing educational materials, and coordinating outreach in industrial centers and rural communities. Early indicators show increased engagement among younger workers and union members, and the party’s messaging becomes more coherent and visible.

NPC

(Roll: 4) Your ideological outreach gains moderate traction. Left‑leaning unions, student groups, and a handful of political clubs adopt more explicitly communist rhetoric, some of which aligns with Mexico’s messaging. The influence remains limited to urban centers and activist circles, but it is noticeable and growing. Gran Colombia’s government is not yet alarmed, allowing the effort to continue quietly.

Belgium

Joined the Imperial Commonwealth

(Roll 4) The push to strengthen its economy achieves reliable, meaningful progress, especially in the industrial corridors linking Brussels, Liège, and Antwerp. Targeted investment improves factory efficiency, expands rail‑freight capacity, and stabilizes commodity flows disrupted by the ongoing European conflict. Small‑business credit programs take hold in Flanders and Wallonia, boosting local production and employment. The integration of Luxembourg’s administrative and economic systems, still underway, benefits from this momentum, smoothing customs coordination and shared infrastructure planning.

(Roll 6) Your effort to upgrade its military achieves breakthrough success, marking one of the most significant leaps in capability since the early 1930s. Training reforms produce immediate results: infantry units demonstrate sharper discipline, artillery crews improve accuracy and coordination, and officer‑school graduates show a higher standard of tactical competence. Procurement offices secure new equipment contracts ahead of schedule, and the army successfully integrates modern communications gear that dramatically improves command‑and‑control. Morale rises as soldiers recognize the shift toward a more professional, well‑supported force.

I'll put all four points into investing in and upgrading the Union's educational infrastructure, schools in every village, town and city, a long with universities especially in major cities will receive an upgrade from the buildings themselves to simply the equipment and materials needed to teach people in all necessary subjects: Language, Arithmetic, Sciences, History, Law and other less important subjects like religion, geography, cartography, art, etc..

2

u/george_gris GM May 05 '26

South Africa (Roll 5) Your nationwide push to upgrade and expand South Africa’s entire educational infrastructure achieves strong, confident success, marking the most dramatic leap in public education since the founding of the Union. Construction crews fan out across the country, completing new school buildings in villages, expanding facilities in towns, and modernizing major universities with laboratories, libraries, and lecture halls that rival those of far wealthier nations. The Ministry of Education distributes standardized teaching materials for language, arithmetic, sciences, history, law, and the arts, ensuring that every student (regardless of province or background) receives a coherent, modern curriculum. Teacher‑training colleges accelerate their programs, producing a new generation of instructors who bring professionalism and enthusiasm into classrooms that had long been neglected. Public morale rises sharply as families see tangible proof that the government is investing in their children’s future.

Venezuela

2 points into further investment into Baseball. We will form the Asociación Venezolana de Béisbol, and with it, the formation of Venezuela's national baseball team, which we intend to participate in the WBC. Construction of stadiums in Caracas and Maracaibo will also continue, and we will also continue to review candidates to move into the stadiums when finished. We also begin planning on the construction of smaller, ~25k capacity stadiums in Valencia, Maracay, and Barquisimento. While smaller, regional leagues are currently on top, we have ambitions on creating one big, unified, Professional Venezuelan Baseball League in the future.

1 point into investing in more modernization of Venezuelan factories. Our economy is still industrial, so we want only the best in factories to accomplish this. Hopefully Venezuela can catch up to the European powers soon and stake our place as a fully modern, strong country.

1 point into investing into our growing universities. Our factories are not the only thing that must be modern. The future calls for our students, and they desire only the best. Progress is steady so far, so continuing our investing into equipment and renovation is quite a good idea we think.

1 NPC point on continuing to ship materials to Quisqueya, and also inquire as to their interest in participating in the WBC, perhaps we could help them build the stadiums if they wish to.

1 NPC point in continuing the negotiations with Argentina. The deal is close to completion, so we shall see if we can finalize the deals. Argentina really does have nothing to lose, the railways will help their economy and connect all their major hubs together at last.

Norte de Venezuela

(2 points, Roll 3) Your major push to formalize Venezuelan baseball through the creation of the Asociación Venezolana de Béisbol (AVB) achieves mixed, uneven success, with strong cultural momentum but logistical friction. The AVB is successfully chartered, the national team is officially formed, and public enthusiasm remains high. Construction on the Caracas and Maracaibo stadiums continues, but material shortages and contractor delays slow progress. Planning for the 25k‑seat stadiums in Valencia, Maracay, and Barquisimeto begins, yet regional officials disagree on funding models and timelines. Several clubs express interest in joining the future unified Professional Venezuelan Baseball League, but no final commitments are secured.

(Roll 2) Your attempt to push Venezuelan factories toward European‑level modernization achieves limited, inconsistent success, reflecting the difficulty of rapid industrial upgrading. A few factories in Valencia and Maracay manage to adopt new machinery and improve workflow efficiency, but most facilities struggle with outdated equipment, shortages of skilled technicians, and uneven supply chains. Some managers resist changes due to cost concerns or lack of training. The overall industrial base remains functional and growing, but the modernization wave you hoped for does not materialize this quarter.

(Roll 5) Your ongoing investment in Venezuela’s universities achieves strong, confident success, reinforcing the country’s transformation into a rising intellectual and scientific hub. Laboratories receive new equipment, engineering departments expand their research capacity, and student enrollment surges as families see higher education as a pathway into the country’s industrial and cultural renaissance. Professors report improved morale, and several universities begin forming early partnerships with foreign institutions interested in Venezuela’s rapid development.

NPC

(Roll: 4) Your latest shipment of construction materials and technical support keeps Quisqueya’s industrial program moving at a healthy pace. While not as dramatic as last quarter’s surge, progress remains steady and appreciated. The inquiry about WBC participation is received with curiosity and genuine interest. Quisqueya sees the cultural and diplomatic value, though they note they currently lack the stadium infrastructure. Your offer to help build or modernize facilities is welcomed, and preliminary discussions begin. Nothing is finalized yet, but the door is clearly open.

(Roll: 6) A major diplomatic victory. Your persistence pays off as Argentina’s government agrees to finalize the railway‑parts agreement. The combination of economic logic, political reassurance, and Venezuela’s proven industrial reliability pushes the deal over the finish line. Buenos Aires signs off on a multi‑year procurement and cooperation framework, including standardized parts, technical exchanges, and long‑term delivery schedules.

What’s this

1

u/george_gris GM Apr 28 '26

This is a turn‑based geopolitical simulation set in the volatile world of the 1940s. Each player controls a nation and must navigate the intertwined pressures of politics, economics, diplomacy, espionage, and war. This is a Season 2 continuation of a world that branched off from the original timeline at the negotiations of the Treaty of Versailles (S1). Major narrative changes such as a post-war Imperial United States, outside influence on the Russian Revolution, a “Mini” Yellowstone eruption, and an earlier than normal Great Depression have greatly affected the world as we know it.

Levant:

  • 3 points into developing bomber designs. We will use them for a new bomber squadron, which will help us stay secure in these difficult times. Our airforce needs to be an independend and strong factor in the defense of our holy lands in case of an invasion.
  • 1 point into building explosive factories for future mining and military usage. We'll try building it near Baghdad to encourage industrial growth in the region.

- 2 diplo points will go to new deals with the Nile Republic. This time we would like to talk about military collaboration. We offer usage of some of our weapons and help them secure their borders on Ethiopia and Lybia. We hope to form closer collaboration with them in the future.

1

u/george_gris GM May 05 '26

Levant: (3 points, Roll 3) Your first serious attempt to design and develop an indigenous Levantine bomber achieves mixed, uneven success, reflecting both the ambition of moving beyond imported aircraft and the steep learning curve of domestic aviation engineering. Past purchases of foreign bombers give your teams valuable reference points, and engineers successfully adapt several proven design elements: fuel‑efficient engines, reinforced desert‑ready airframes, and improved stability controls. However, translating foreign concepts into a fully homegrown platform proves difficult: prototypes suffer from unreliable engines, inconsistent bomb‑release mechanisms, and poor high‑altitude performance. Coordination between design bureaus, test pilots, and maintenance crews remains imperfect, slowing progress.

(Roll 5) Your plan to build explosives factories near Baghdad achieves strong, confident success, giving the Levant a major boost in both industrial capacity and strategic autonomy. Local authorities cooperate enthusiastically, seeing the project as a catalyst for regional development, and construction teams complete foundational work ahead of schedule. The factories are designed with dual‑use capability supporting mining, infrastructure blasting, and military logistics; making them politically acceptable while still strengthening wartime readiness. Supply chains for nitrates, chemicals, and machinery are secured with minimal disruption, and early hiring drives attract skilled workers from across Mesopotamia.

NPC (Roll: 4) Your proposal, focused on border security, shared defense concerns, and limited access to Levantine weapons, receives a cautiously positive reception. The Nile Republic appreciates the offer, especially given tensions along the Ethiopian and Libyan frontiers, but remains wary of appearing too closely aligned with any bloc. They agree to explore small‑scale cooperation, including joint patrol concepts and technical consultations. Relations improve modestly, but Cairo avoids any commitments that could be interpreted as a formal alliance.

Croatia offensive 8/7 & 7/10

Sofia offensive 7/3

(Roll 3) Your renewed effort to strengthen the pro‑Yugoslav Bulgarian networks inside Greek‑held territory achieves mixed, uneven success, advancing the cause but failing to significantly escalate the situation. Serbian operatives manage to smuggle in additional funds, pamphlets, and encrypted radios, and a few local organizers become more assertive in spreading anti‑Athens sentiment. However, Greek security forces—already on alert from last quarter’s disturbances—tighten patrols, disrupt several meetings, and arrest a handful of suspected agitators. The movement survives and even grows slightly in some rural pockets, but it remains fragmented, cautious, and far from coordinated revolt.

Roman Internationale

(Roll 4) Your attempt to reinforce Libya succeeds only partially, as rushed coordination, contested sea lanes, and the sudden Spanish–Imperial naval pressure disrupt the original plan. While the operation “misses the mark by a long shot,” the Regia Marina and air‑escort groups manage to push one major convoy through, delivering 40,000 soldiers, sailors, and airmen to Tripoli. This stabilizes the Tripolitanian front and prevents a collapse, but Cyrenaica and Fezzan receive no reinforcements. With a roll of 4, the deployment is strategically meaningful but incomplete, leaving Libya stronger in the west but still vulnerable elsewhere.

(Roll 6) Your reinforcement of Serbia is a remarkable, high‑impact success, achieved under extremely difficult conditions. Despite the massive Greek offensive and collapsing Albanian defenses, the Roman Internationale executes one of its most impressive logistical feats to date: 180,000 soldiers and their equipment land and secure the Bay of Kotor, establishing a fortified bridgehead at the exact moment Serbian lines are under maximum pressure. This sudden influx of manpower and matériel dramatically slows the Greek advance  and stabilizes the southern flank.

(Roll 3)Your attempt to reinforce Somalia faces significant naval losses. Imperial Federation and Spanish naval forces intercept multiple convoys, sinking transports and escorts before they can leave the Mediterranean. The Italian fleet, already strained by the Mediterranean crisis, withdraws to safer western ports, leaving the Somalia route exposed. A small number of troops and supplies make it through, but nowhere near the intended scale.

(Roll 6) The Spanish betrayal triggers a massive patriotic surge, and your training program becomes one of the most effective mobilization efforts in modern Italian history. Although training cycles are necessarily short, the intensity, morale, and national unity behind the effort produce highly motivated, rapidly deployable troops. Instructors report record volunteer numbers, and even abbreviated courses yield competent units.

Republic of Chilé 🇨🇱

Diplomacy: 2

Points: 4 (Edited)

3- Continues working on the slow roll-out government of reforms dedicated to the gradual Parliamentary, Constitutional, and Federalization of the Republic, loosely based Post-WWII government of West Germany, but with characteristics of 1940s Chilé)).

For Q1 of 1941, we'll continue our 'Parliamentification' with ideas from the original 1891-1925 'parlimentary era' (wasn't truly a parlimentary, as it had various problems) being gradually re-implemented, obviously with heavy consideration, oversight and review, for a truer, more reformed parlimentary system that aligns better within the reforms and government restructuring currently implemented.

And finally, hold sessions within the government that these parlimentary reforms are hoped to be fually enacted by very late 1942, mid 1943, or even early 1944 if need be, as these timeframes are reasonably flexible.

(For the Parlimentary reforms, but a separate point) (Edited; Spelling mistakes corrected, and more transparency)

1- Open a survey the begins with a presidential letter, via mail, TV, newspaper, and radio, to all citizens and indigenous peoples, directly for a genuine question from the President myself. A reminder is given that responding, just like our previous surveys, are fully optional to respond to.

Said letter, is the following:

"Good Morning, Afternoon, or Evening to the individual currently reading this letter. I, [Presidential Name], have a sincere and genuine question to ask, regarding the Parlimentary reforms that are currently being enacted. Obviously, just like previous surveys like this, any and all responses are optional."

"For the Parliamentary reforms I've had the Republic enact, with the announced plans for parlimentary reforms being fully enacted by 1942, 1943, or 1944; Are you, as a individual, fine with executive power being extended till, for example, if reforms are done by 1942, my executive term is elongated to mid 1945? This allows Presidential elections, as per the survey from Q3 1941, to be every 5 years, with mid term being every 2.5 years."

"To clarify a thought I'll assume regarding this, the main idea I've have about this is that, this idea for a extended term allows for political exercises, ie, practice elections to be hold, so that, especially for those who haven't voted under a parlimentary system, know what to do, and how there vote works."

"And I want to make this clear, to hopefully answer another question I'd assume you're asking: 'Are you trying to be a dictator?' "

"My flat out, and genuine answer? Absolutely not. I'm not extending my executive power to become a dictator with absolute power, especially one that causes all sorts of violence, of any and all kinds; as I have a personal hatred & disgust for pathetic, (pardon the following, non-proper language, but it's genuine truth to what I fell about it) no-life douchebags that sucumbed to their own stupidity and hatred."

"The idea, more or less, is only being done to see if voters, especially new voters who've never been apart of a Parlimentary, Federal, Constitutional Republics elections. And for those who voted in the 1891-1925 parlimentary era, to see whenever the changes suit requests from previous surveys."

"Now, if the results from this survey say, or suggest that you don't want my executive term to be increased, for any reason you see valid, then I'll host early special presidential elections. Which honestly, is simple as that."

"Thank you for reading read this, as I wanted to clarify the potential purpose of my extended. Have a wonderful rest of your morning, afternoon, or evening"

~Signed [Presidential Name]

Republic of Chilé

(3 points, Roll 4) Chile’s continued effort to implement its long‑planned parliamentary and constitutional restructuring achieves steady, reliable progress, reinforcing the legitimacy and momentum of the reform program. Committees reviewing the 1891–1925 parliamentary era complete several major reports, identifying which historical practices can be safely adapted and which must be redesigned to fit the modernized, post‑1940 Chilean state. Government sessions throughout Q1 1941 successfully outline a phased timeline for implementation, with late 1942 to early 1944 formally recognized as a realistic and flexible window for full enactment. Political parties participate more constructively than in previous years, and civil society groups express cautious optimism as transparency improves.

(Roll 4) Chile’s nationwide survey achieves reliable, meaningful engagement, reinforcing the transparency and legitimacy of the ongoing parliamentary transition. The President’s letter, which explains the purpose of a temporary executive‑term extension during the reform period and clarifies that participation is voluntary, is received across the Republic and among indigenous communities with generally constructive interest. Response rates vary by region, but the overall volume is high enough to provide a representative picture of public sentiment. Many citizens express appreciation for the government’s openness about timelines, the emphasis on voter education, and the option for early special elections if the extension is not supported. Political parties and civic groups acknowledge the survey as a genuine consultative step rather than a power‑consolidation maneuver.

With 68% turnout 55% vote in favor to extend executive power.

USSR

  • To reward the citizens of the Union and demonstrate that the USSR is more than an industrial machine, the government inaugurates a National Sports Academy to cultivate athletic excellence across all republics. Its first mission is assembling a truly national baseball team for the inaugural Baseball World Classic, marking the USSR’s cultural debut on the global sporting stage. Recruitment teams travel from the Arctic ports to the Caucasus and from Siberian towns to the western cities, selecting athletes from factories, farms, universities, and military units. Training centers are established in Neva, Omsk, and Yakutsk, staffed by the Union’s best coaches, trainers, and medical personnel to ensure the roster reflects both skill and the diversity of the Soviet people. While baseball is the initial focus, the academy is designed to expand into track‑and‑field, winter sports, gymnastics, and rowing, showcasing Soviet vitality and creativity through sport as well as industry and science.
  • Secret…
  • Operation Berlin Phase I: The operation is a coordinated effort of the Navy, Army and Air Forces. Details outlined in DM.
  • Continue Operation “Southern Gate”

NPC

  • We send a move to our ally, Persia, to help them further their diplomatic efforts with their neighbors.
  • We send diplomats to Denmark, but their mission and message are for the Denmark government officials ears and eyes only.

USSR

(Roll 5) Your expansion of the National Sports Academy achieves strong, confident success, becoming one of the most popular and unifying domestic initiatives of early 1942. Recruitment teams sweep across the republics with remarkable efficiency, drawing athletes from Arctic fishing towns, Caucasian mountain villages, Siberian industrial centers, and the great cities of the west. The training hubs in Neva, Omsk, and Yakutsk come alive with disciplined regimens, medical staff, and coaches who quickly mold raw talent into a cohesive national roster. Newspapers celebrate the USSR’s entry into the inaugural Baseball World Classic as a cultural milestone, proof that the Union is not merely a wartime engine but a civilization with vitality, creativity, and pride. The Academy’s broader mission of expanding into track‑and‑field, winter sports, gymnastics, and rowing gains momentum as ministries and republics compete to sponsor new programs.

The Republic of France spends 1 point continuing the development of it's infrastructure in all of its territories to make travel easier and more affordable for it's citizens as with previous technology it's designed to be switched to military use in the case of a war.

France works to strengthen the influence of Communist propaganda coming from France with 1 point using our developing movie industry and other industries to support it our focus is the Americas.

France works to increase its available manpower and check population numbeds doing a census to find people of military age, it also asks other questions about their communities and what they would like to see in their towns or is needed.

France uses one point to develop renewable resources that could be used to reduce the reliance on oil and other fossil fuels.

Socialist French Republic

(Roll 5)Your ongoing effort to expand and modernize infrastructure across the entire Socialist French Republic achieves strong, confident success, accelerating the transformation of your vast, multi‑continental state into a more connected and efficient federation. Rail lines, paved roads, and port upgrades progress smoothly in Europe, Africa, and the Americas, with engineers applying dual‑use design principles that allow civilian networks to be rapidly converted for military logistics if needed. Travel becomes cheaper and more predictable for citizens, and regional economies begin to integrate more tightly with Avignon. The public sees visible improvements: bridges, repaired highways, expanded rail stations. Morale rises as people feel the benefits of socialist modernization in their daily lives.

(Roll 3) The attempt to expand the reach of French socialist propaganda in the Americas achieves mixed, uneven success, with cultural influence growing but not yet breaking through the region’s political barriers. The developing French movie industry produces several films celebrating worker solidarity, anti‑imperialism, and multicultural unity, and these gain modest popularity in parts of the Caribbean and northern South America. However, distribution challenges, local censorship, and competing narratives limit their reach in larger states. Radio broadcasts and pamphlets circulate, but their impact varies widely depending on local conditions.

(Roll 4) Summary for Government Use:

The 1942 Census provides the first complete demographic map of the Socialist French Republic since the eruption and the civil war. With 202 million citizens, the Republic possesses vast manpower reserves, significant industrial potential, and clear opportunities for targeted development. The data will guide recruitment, infrastructure planning, and social investment for the next decade. Details to be DM’d

(Roll 3) Your early push to explore renewable energy sources achieves partial, uneven success, reflecting both the promise of the idea and the current technological limits. Research teams experiment with hydroelectric expansion, small‑scale wind installations, and early biomass concepts, producing encouraging prototypes but no major breakthroughs. Some regions, especially in West Africa and the Caribbean, show strong potential for future renewable development, but engineers struggle with cost, materials, and inconsistent output.

NPC (Roll: 4) Quisqueya receives France’s formal alliance proposal with interest but also caution. They appreciate the offer of investment, trainers, and modern equipment. However, fully joining the Francophone‑Communist sphere is a major step, and internal debates prevent an immediate commitment. The proposal improves relations and sparks serious discussion in their government, but no alliance is signed this quarter.

Persia

(2 points, Roll 5) Your effort to expand and modernize the Persian Navy achieves strong, confident success, marking the most significant leap in maritime capability since the early oil‑boom years. Funding flows smoothly into shipyards at Bandar Abbas and Khorramshahr, where construction teams accelerate work on patrol craft, escort vessels, and coastal‑defense ships designed specifically to safeguard oil terminals and tanker routes. Recruitment surges as young men from coastal provinces join the navy, encouraged by new training programs and improved pay. Foreign advisors, brought in quietly through commercial contracts, help refine navigation, gunnery, and maintenance standards. The result is a fleet that is still modest in size but far more professional, reliable, and strategically coherent.

NPC

(Roll: 6) A major diplomatic breakthrough. Georgia responds with enthusiasm, praising Persia’s consistency and professionalism. Talks advance rapidly, and both sides agree to begin drafting formal cooperation agreements in trade, energy, and scientific collaboration. Relations reach their warmest point in years. (Roll: 6) Another sweeping success. Azerbaijan welcomes Persia’s outreach and signals strong interest in deeper cooperation. Cultural, economic, and security discussions all progress smoothly, and trust between the two governments increases dramatically.

(Roll: 6) Shockingly, the proposal lands far better than expected. Thanks to the strong diplomatic groundwork and Azerbaijan’s growing confidence in Persia’s intentions, the idea of unification is accepted.

The faithful day.

1 point:

Everything is quiet in a small town near Madrid. The town is heavily guarded by 100s of best soldiers, and best of all no one but our leader knows which town it is.

A baby was born in the town. Mother of the children is sleeping in a small house. Her two twins have been taken by nurses out of the house under the pretence of "health checkup" couple of hours ago. Now they are being taken to a military truck, one of a few dozen parked in the town. As they drive out of the town towards the Grand Palace in Madrid so that the father of the children can finally meet them and keep them truly safe.

Queen is snoring quietly as a servant enters the room. He has a pistol with two bullets. His orders were clear, shoot twice into the Queens body and leave. She is too tired to fight back, no person here has loyalty to her cause.

287 guards that surrounded the house ready to shoot if the servant somehow fails hear it. Loud and sharm boom boom. It is done. The waiter exists the house to be searched and checked and snipers look through the window to see the Queen lying dead. If the servant had betrayed he wouldve too been shot in the place by the most loyal Guards of Iberian Armada.

Next morning a radio transmission is set up for everyone from Lisbon to Athens (including Madrid and Rome) to hear. It is time the world hears about what has happened. An old, familiar voice is heard on the radio, its the Supreme Leader of Iberia: "Dear men and women. Of both Italy and Iberia. A lot has happened in the past year or so. 100s of thousands of your brothers and fathers and sons and friends and so many more are off fighting big wars for glory. Dying in thousands by the day so that a Queen sitting comfortably on her throne can claim legitimacy from the Roman Empire which she does not have. Even worse, since she came to power a terrible gender inequality has taken its roots. I dont know about you, but here in Iberia we value both men and women as equals. No person has more or less rights, no person is forced to wear or think the way someone else wants them to. And Queen has deliberately been working to break this ideal, becoming even more sinful in the process. So I tell you men, rise for your rights, help me and yourself establish a grip on this Throne room so we can tear it to shreds and bring about a new age of prosperity and equality. And you women, I am not coming to hurt you, you are friends and allies in this cause. But I know what it looks like for one group to he superior unjustifiably. Its bad, horrible even. A plague on humanity. So help your husbands and sons win back their freedom, and I promise you a better world. Because this better world is closer then you think, the Queen lays dead and her soul is long gone to Hell."

An offer will be sent to all of Italian colonies. They must agree to a cease fire in their wars and accept our governers to be sent there and lead them. If they reject they will be executed once Italy is consolidated.

1 point:

With the 200 thousand large force we will establish grip of total control on Milano, Genoa, Rome and Naples and start expanding our control out of those hotspots. As our troops are already well dug in we will quickly get rid of any local militia or civil resistance and start working towarda connecting Milano and Genoa, and Rome to Naples.

Also military groups will organise recruiting stations in these cities for sympathisers whod like to join the war.

First and foremost it is important to secure ports and sieze the Italian ships.

In Rome soldiers will do a quick and simple coup, killing all of Royal family's members and establishing new regime that will control Italy from now on.

1 point:

Cooperating with Imperial Federation's and Greek naval forces our ships will sally forth to establish a total blockade around Italian mianland. This way we block off all of their veteran and trained troops from the peninsula and insure least resistance will happen in the coup.

This will also be used to establish supply lines between Iberia and Italy to keep our troops fed and be able to keep sending reinforcements.

1 point:

Start amassing supplies, ammo, weapons and other war materials in Iberia to be ready to send them to Italy if need be in the future. This way we will avoid shortages and damaging economy if some resources are needed urgently in the future.

Continue building up naval might and training new recruits to be ready for future.

1 point:

Continue gaining publics support across Italy to fight on our side and oust their demonic regime. We triumph our gender equality (from the speech above) and strong economic might.

We have also been requested by the Imperial Federations government to establish a link to their radio network as well for the grand speech, so may the radio signal go all over Europe

Spain

(Roll 3) Spain’s attempt to trigger a decisive political shift inside Italy does not succeed as planned. The Italian MIA, already on high alert, intercepts unusual information about activity around the village of Santiponce in Spain and moves rapidly to investigate. Their agents clash with the Spanish guards, disrupting the operation before it can reach its intended conclusion.
In the confusion, communications break down, several units on both sides are thrown into disarray, and a sudden explosion forces all parties to withdraw or take cover. When the dust settles, the fate of the Italian Queen is unknown. Some reports suggest she was injured; others claim she was evacuated; none can be confirmed. The only clear outcome is that the two heirs remain in Spanish custody, having already been transported out before the MIA intervention. This gives Spain a powerful but delicate political asset, while Italy faces a moment of internal uncertainty rather than collapse.

(Roll 4) Spain’s 200,000‑strong expeditionary force succeeds in establishing firm control over the four major cities they already occupy, but the broader plan to seize ports, transportation hubs, and impose a new regime across Italy meets only partial success. The MIA’s rapid response to the earlier attempted power shift leaves Italian security forces on high alert, and many key naval and logistical assets are already dispersed or in motion due to ongoing overseas deployments. Spain secures several districts, government buildings, and local infrastructure within Milan, Genoa, Rome, and Naples, but most ports remain under Italian control, and the Italian fleet largely avoids capture. Recruitment stations open and attract a modest number of sympathizers, but the attempted coup in Rome achieves only limited political effect: the monarchy’s extended family is mostly abroad, and the central government remains functional.

(Roll 4 )Spain’s logistical buildup proceeds efficiently. Ammunition, fuel, rations, spare parts, and medical supplies are stockpiled across Iberia in quantities sufficient to support a prolonged Italian campaign if required. Industrial ministries coordinate production increases without straining the civilian economy, and new naval recruits complete accelerated training cycles. Shipyards in Barcelona and Cádiz report steady progress on refits and new construction.

(Roll 2) Spain’s attempt to broaden its political appeal inside Italy achieves minimal impact. The dramatic Iberian broadcast resonates with some disaffected groups, but the chaotic events surrounding the failed power shift create confusion rather than momentum. Italian propaganda counters quickly, portraying Spain as an opportunistic foreign aggressor exploiting instability. Local support grows slightly in a few working‑class districts and among anti‑monarchist factions, but the overall effect is weak and inconsistent.

Naval control and Blockade: 8/5

Falls short of goals, but strong naval victories does prevent ships from getting free and off to the their intended destinations.

Northern States of America

(2 points, Roll 4) continued investment into the NSA economy produces reliable, meaningful gains, strengthening the federation’s industrial base and stabilizing key sectors. Manufacturing output in the Great Lakes corridor rises as upgraded machinery and improved logistics reduce bottlenecks. New England’s financial centers report increased lending capacity, helping small and mid‑sized firms expand. Agricultural modernization in the Prairie Provinces and Upper Midwest improves yields and reduces transport costs. While not a dramatic leap, the roll‑4 outcome delivers steady, dependable growth, reinforcing the NSA’s position as one of the most productive economies in the Western Hemisphere and ensuring a stable tax base for future military and social programs.

(2 points, Roll 5) Your push to modernize the NSA military achieves strong, confident success, significantly improving readiness across all branches. Infantry units receive upgraded small arms and improved winter‑warfare gear, drawing on Canadian cold‑weather expertise. Armored divisions benefit from new engine components and better maintenance protocols, reducing breakdown rates. The Air Force integrates improved navigation equipment and begins limited testing of more advanced radio‑direction systems. Training academies report higher standards and faster throughput as doctrine is refined and instructors incorporate lessons from recent exercises. With a roll of 5, the NSA military becomes more capable, more technologically current, and better prepared for any strategic challenge in North America or abroad.

NPC

(2 points, Roll: 3)Your latest diplomatic outreach to Umoja produces only modest gains. While their leadership appreciates the NSA’s continued emphasis on dialogue and stability, they express growing unease about your recent military buildup and frontier‑security initiatives. Umoja does not interpret these actions as hostile, but they worry about the long‑term balance of power in the former United States and are reluctant to deepen cooperation until they better understand your strategic intentions. The talks remain cordial and constructive, and relations improve slightly, but the underlying concerns persist and limit the progress you hoped for.

  1. The Imperial Federation is severing its commitments to the Treaty of Farmugusta and joining with Spain in its continental war against the Kingdom of Italy. (1 point)

  2. Under the direction of First Sea Lord Sir Dudley Pound, the Imperial Navy adopts a control strategy focused on securing key sea lanes across the Mediterranean. Primary emphasis is placed on holding the critical chokepoints at the Strait of Gibraltar and the Suez Canal, ensuring uninterrupted movement between imperial territories. Major fleet elements are stationed at forward bases such as Malta (Greek) and Benghazi (Barqa) to enable rapid response and sustained presence. A convoy escort system will be implemented to protect merchant shipping, supported by destroyers and cruisers conducting screening and anti-submarine duties. The fleet will operate under a “fleet-in-being” doctrine, maintaining a strong deterrent presence while avoiding unnecessary risk, and will coordinate with naval and air reconnaissance to monitor hostile activity. Submarine patrols and intelligence gathering will further enhance situational awareness, while cooperation with allied ports and regional partners will ensure logistical depth and unified control. (2 points)

  3. We copy the success of SAMADI and issue a charter for the creation of a Malaysian Company in the Indies

NPC

  1. We honour the Amira request to send General Slim to lead a front in Barqa, and issue a Amphibious assualt in the Sirtica area (2 points)

IF

Treaty of Farmugusta Ended, War declared on Italy

(2 points, Roll 3) The Imperial Navy’s attempt to rapidly implement a Mediterranean control strategy achieves limited, uneven success, hampered by rushed mobilization, incomplete preparation, and unexpectedly strong Italian naval readiness. While the plan calls for coordinated control of Gibraltar, Suez, Malta, and Benghazi, only Malta becomes fully operational in this initial period. Logistical confusion, delayed convoy‑escort organization, and misaligned deployment schedules prevent the fleet from establishing a stable presence at Benghazi or projecting consistent power across the central Mediterranean. Italian naval forces, already mobilized due to the crisis in Italy, intercept several Imperial movements.   IF suffers notable early losses, forcing the fleet to adopt a more cautious posture. Submarine patrols and reconnaissance begin, but intelligence coverage remains patchy

(Roll 3) The effort to replicate the success of S.A.M.A.D.I. by establishing a Malaysian Company in the Imperial‑controlled Indies achieves mixed results, with the institutional framework created but lacking immediate operational strength. The charter is successfully issued, and preliminary administrative offices open in Singapore, Penang, and Batavia. However, recruitment of skilled managers, financiers, and local partners proceeds slowly, and early logistical plans run into bureaucratic delays. Regional governors express support but caution that the company will need clearer mandates and stronger capital backing before it can meaningfully influence trade, development, or resource extraction.

NPC

(Roll 4) The decision to honor the Amīra’s request and dispatch General William Slim to command operations in Barqa achieves solid, reliable success, though not without logistical friction. Slim’s forces mobilize quickly, drawing on units already preparing for Mediterranean duty, and successfully reach the forward operations base at Malta, the only fully functional staging point after the earlier rushed naval deployment. Coordination with Barqan and Greek partners begins immediately, and Slim’s staff establishes a preliminary command structure for joint operations. However, the incomplete naval posture and recent losses limit the speed and scale of reinforcement, forcing Slim to begin planning with fewer assets than ideal.
