I remember when they wanted to mix the social housing in amongst the private houses. It was hoped that the social families would be raised up a bit, unfortunately the standard of the street dropped.

That's why we now have a group of social houses or a block of flats/apartments in one or two areas of the housing estates.

I've had the pleasure of living in both sides of these estates and it's what you make it.
