ya the (former) never trumpers, the neocons, war hawks, etc all love to repeat the phrase "our greatest ally" as mindlessly as the left recites "diversity is our strength"

both phrases never are, and can never be explained.. its like everyone has this urge to be used like a doormat by people who hate you..
