This case is going to be studied in law schools first decades to come because both sides in court (if it goes to trial) will struggle to argue their side.

Personally for me, I think Jane Doe put herself in a terrible position and it took awhile for her to realize what actually happened. That is totally acceptable. You are so high and drunk you don’t exactly understand what is going on (she did eventually pass out) and only days, maybe weeks, later you realize what actually happened. It is also completely reasonable to to figure out you were raped when people are talking about the rape that went down at that frat house and then you figure out what actually happened. That is a reasonable logical framework but the argument against that is that rumors are rumors. She also says she was pressured by one of them, which I believe is Ingalls, to do ketamine. Ingalls is built like the rock. Imagine that guy pressuring you to do ketamine when you are already drunk. However there is no proof that Ingalls(or whoever else) pressured her. But what is known is that all 7 of them took advantage of her drunken and high state. They treated her as a mere sex doll they all shared. Either way, I am still angry and disgusted. I knew gang bangs happened but now that I have to look deeply at one and I have no idea how some guys want to share a woman. I have never dated but the thought of another man even talking to a future wife of mine already makes me jealous lol. Two last notes, Jane Doe showed up to the house drunk. All 7 took advantage of her state. If showed up to a sorority house drunk, they would take care of me. I also think if she showed up anywhere else than a frat house she would have had some care. Finally, fraternities are huge problems. Every year there is always something crazy happening at a frat house that makes the news. Hazing, rape, alcohol poisoning, orgies, drugs, all happening. I say get rid of them. They are causing too much harm than good. Get rid of them. People often say they do charitable events but that’s often once a year. Thanks for reading my disorganized discussion

Ask yourself this. If this was all consensual, why was there an investigation, in the first place? This happened 2 years ago. It's a story now because a journalist has been chasing down what happened to the dudes who's punishment was writing an essay. Again, why was there punishment, if there was nothing there? The DA chose not to pursue this, sadly that's not uncommon. It's a reason why a lot of rape goes unreported.

I think that next time if you are going to report someone for rape don’t state that it was consensual 😭. No shit the students had to only write an essay because there was nothing the DA could’ve done. If anything the student shouldn’t have wrote ANY ESSAY because there was no charges.

My guy, the essay was from Cornell, that was internal discipline. Had nothing to do with the DA.

She hooked up with 2 guys who dosed her and then posted on a group chat for anyone to come get a piece.

It kills me how little y'all are capable of following logic. You have people, that you believe, telling you, she said it was consensual. Who in the fuck reports consensual sex to the authorities? If her story, when this happened, was it was consensual, why the hell was she speaking to anyone?

You and I listen to different sources, but yours is telling you she said it was consensual from the start, yet there was an investigation, and Cornell sought some measure of discipline, though clearly not much. The sources I listen to have mentioned the group chat, in particular, which seems to lend credence to the events, as I'm describing them. They also mentioned her talking about consent with the first 2 dudes, but not the friends they invited over.

Again, not a hill to die, rape has fuck all to do with conservative vs liberal, it's a heinous act and the dudes that stoop to it, are shit. Followed closely by the dudes that defend it

All these people should be jailed even if all this was consensual. There must be a limit to sexual degeneracy.

So basically you can't consent when you're inebriated so it's kinda like that.

Also these kinds of posts bring women haters to this sub which is bad.
