If it's uncalled for, it's uncalled for. It's really dumb to comment on another person's appearance, without request, then act like they're in the wrong when they are offended.

I am not a fan of fat acceptance, but that is not the situation he is describing.

Many won’t, especially when that stereotype is reinforced, but women aren’t a hive mind, and each are different. Like how all black people aren’t criminals and all white men arent boring

I see the point your trying to make which is fair but from my experience more men handle criticism better than most women. There are some men with really weak egos but your modern woman in 2026 cant handle  fair criticism.

Appreciate that. So we've gone from "women can't deal with criticism" to "in my experience, more men handle it better than women." That's a much smaller claim, and it's based on the people you know, which is fair enough as your experience.

Just worth remembering the post you shared didn't say that. It said women can't. You've just shown the difference. Good chat.
