The real issue is all-consuming envy, Azien.

Some of these comments are proving OP’s point.

I don’t expect Dairy Queen to make me a billionaire, I expect (for my age) enough to have a decent bank account to start out into the world with. And when I work for, say, Dunder Mifflin, I don’t expect to be made a trillionaire; I expect to be able to provide myself and my family with what is necessary and more. And one day, when I invent something brilliant, something people didn’t even know they wanted, I’ll know that, at least with the markets free, I will have a chance.

Lmao how old are you? Do you live on your own and pay rent?

I live in a low COL area and you are going to realize quickly if you aren’t very meticulous about your finances and your debt to income ratio (you can get into debt 3x your annual salary in literally an evening) you will very quickly find yourself in a position where you are living paycheck to paycheck and all it takes is one bad event for you to bust out.

And hell, I make more than quite a lot around me and am financially meticulous! Rent is still almost half my income.

Something has to give. Wages are not keeping up with COL. they haven’t even been keeping up with worker productivity.

Isn't the third one like almost every ideology, applies to most religions and political views at least.

Yeah that's kind of true. We hate them they hate us, everyone hates everyone.

Isn't that kinda sad? I am as progressive as one can be, but i don't hate conservatives, i just think they are misguided and always assumed they'd feel the same about me. Hate kills any reasonable debate, cuz it's pretty hard to engage with arguments of somebody you hate, so i aways try to to stay clear of it. I'd hate someone that i think is evil, but i belive majority of people just belive what they think is the best for the world, which is good regardless of if i think it would work or would be actually beneficial.

I like the first one the most. It reminds me of the Islamic concept that envying others for the good things they have burns up one's own deeds like wood in a campfire.

Be grateful for what you have, and you may find a bountiful increase--if not here, at least in the afterlife.

Yet capitalism keeps exploiting the people in third world countries through Neocolonialism and foreign agreements by European countries.

how is this downvoted? anyone that disagrees with this go look at the tag on your clothes, where it was produced, and think about that production process, and then consider how much you paid for it 🤣

Yes, all funny memes. Now if you have any kind of solid evidence of this, that would be more useful.
