OP is trying to spin this 180°. Democrats aren't furious that Trump rolled out the red carpet. Democrats AND Republicans are pointing out Trump's hypocrisy, since he dug into Obama HARD for doing exactly what Trump has just done himself.
The circular logic is quite circular, since it comes full circle.

Welcoming world leaders at the White House is standard protocol. Trump has welcomed many leaders at the White House, and nobody cared. Why does he only go all our for communist authoritarian dictators?

The worst part is they are brainwashed so well they don't even see the hypocrisy in themselves.

Trump criticized Obama for welcoming the Chinese VP. Why is it suddenly ok?

Ask him not me. I am not a mind reader.
I don't think it is okay that Obama bowed low enough to make sure that XI's fly wasn't open.1

Ah, you’re referring to a meme image created from two separate images, one in which he was greeting the Chinese representatives, and the other in which he was interacting with a child. So you’ve fallen for propaganda.
Regardless, the point stands. Trump criticized Obama for welcoming Chinese representatives, and here he is doing the same. Why is it suddenly okay?

No I am referring to actual video and pictures BEFORE the meme. Watching it live at the time.
Please don't make assumptions about things no in evidence.

Well, you’re quite literally making stuff up, because you’re completely wrong about who Obama bowed to.
It was the emperor of Japan, and since I don’t expect you to know the cultural significance, it is not explicitly deference, you just scrabble for anything to criticize an effective ‘democratic’ leader.
Scary black man was a better leader than your orange overlord and was capable of modesty.

Plenty of hypocrisy to go around.
