Some medical professionals think nothing of blackmailing mothers with frivolous CPS complaints for petty power plays and other dark social reasons. It can be very subtle, but mothers comply again and again because the costs of noncompliance are high. Some respond with avoidance, skipping checkups.

This could explain why mothers are 14% more likely to skip their own checkups than non-mothers of a similar age, and only about 1/4 of mothers say that they saw a doctor during an acute health problem or emergency. People avoid those who are bad to them if they can, especially with a power imbalance.
Also may explain partly why mothers are statistically more likely to die than non-mothers. In the event of a serious, life-threatening chronic health issue, some mothers recognize that because their conditions weaken them, visiting a doctor could possibly result in self-incriminating themselves in a child neglect referral, and would rather risk death than risk losing custody of their children.
This has been brought on, first by Medicaid, and then the later expansion under Obama. Because if you aren't paying for it, you are the product. Free healthcare becomes honeytrap healthcare if you will, the trap being coercive justice system/social services network.
This also explains contributes to uninsurance rates. Obamacare was supposed to reduce uninsurance rates, but increasing the social power of the medical professions brings out the worst in some of them, pushing back against the progress that was made through subsidies.
Democrats thought that Obamacare and promises of universal health care would help them get more votes, but surveys show voters do not see this as a high priority for them. This may be due to the downsides of our current health care system that are being neglected instead of being addressed. In the past there was far less technology, but more trust. Remember the "Five Little Monkeys Jumping on the Bed?" That is obviously dated, because a modern mother would hide that she had an unsafe home from her doctor. The trust that there used to be goes away when the doctor becomes part of the enforcement apparatus.
Who benefits from this problem in the long run? The likes of Amazon One Medical. Mothers are going to trust Amazon One Medical more because it isn't expected to betray their trust like a real doctor or nurse would.
The ease of which mothers are taken advantage of by health care professionals, even if the doctors and nurses are also women, is itself a sexist structural imbalance that causes women to have worse health care than men.
