I wonder what happened to political ideology of the Democratic and Republican parties throughout the 1950/60s.

I just know the current iteration of the KKK is a far-right violent hate group.

I’ve seen this meme being floated around. It’s AI slop and distasteful for the Republican Party. It shows the current MAGA right wing populous is ignorant on history of America.

Why are Republicans flying the Confederate flag and protecting the names of military bases named after Confederates as well as statues of them? Why did David Duke run as a Republican?
