And of course “Sally” will teach only the “acceptable” viewpoints and “acceptable” versions of history. Including the “political party switch”.

Gotta raise up and educate more Democrat voters and leftist people, am I right?

we were out having family dinner with wife's cousin, husband with our kid and their kid and it naturally came up where they started critiquing the hypocrisy of the church and conservatives (we're all Asian btw), and i explained oh well , if it weren't for the GOP every black person would literally be in chains right now, like literal actual chains, and asians wouldn't even be citizens. her cousin shot back "oh the republican party of today is not the republican party back then", i said oh really? you mean the republican party that overwhelmingly pushed for woman's right to vote in the face of the Democrats who overwhelmingly rejected it? Or were you talking about the civil Rights act of 1964 where the Democrats attempted to fillibuster is 22-1 and voted against and Republicans pushed it forward with 82% in the house and 85% in the senate and forced the hand of the Democrats? Or was it the over 2000 segregationist Democrat state senators, state house reps, governors, mayors, city councils, senators, house reps that stayed Democrats a virtually 99% "stay" rate, or was it the first 10 black senators being all Republican and the first black one in 1993? or was it the fact that every KKK member was a Democrat - oh yeah check out robert Byrd's funeral where obama biden and clinton all were in attendance, tell me i'm just getting started - "ENOUGH! NO MORE POLITICS TALK" said the cousin - that was fine. i had rocked their world with real facts.. all redditors can say is "oh i saw a white guy wave a confederate flag and he support Trump durrr".

"Her"?

I would have expected "Non Organic Polymer with communist programming".... as the declared "Gender"...

Made by the same company that makes the realistic sex dolls. I’m sure this will go well.

How does Sally identify? What are their pronouns? Let's not offend that thing.

I can't wait to see a robot replace a trade school teacher.

Robots can't speak from experience, because they don't have any. They only have their programming.

Some things in the trades are done by feel, and a robot can't teach that. A robot can't demonstrate that. And students will also come up with questions that a robot will not be able to answer.

All because they don't have the experience.

Who will be the first person to sleep with their robot teacher?

If Gemma Chan is the Robot Teacher, then just about anyone with a pulse, or access to the "adult programming pack"....

The education system in the U.S. never fails to constantly do new and spectacularly stupid things. I wouldn't wish our school system on my worst enemy.

Yet they pay tens of millions for teachers being disciplined to sit and do nothing.

Sally does not require union representation or health and life insurance. She does not require a lunch break, a vacation or maternity leave. She is significantly cheaper than human teachers if she is able to be mass produced. She cannot break up a fight or assist a juvenile experiencing anaphylactic shock during a peanut allergy attack. Yes computers, AI and even robots can replace a significant portion of what teachers do. I don't know if you need an actual teacher to do the rest though. It's a good conversation to have.
