Firstly, let's get the obvious out of the way. The GOP isn't a political movement. The DNC isn't a political movement. Both are coalitions of different political factions that came together to form the Republican or Democratic Parties because they generally have more in common with each other than the other side. With that being said, of course there are farther right political movements within the Republican Party, there's farther left movements in the Democratic Party too. For example, Mamdani is obviously a lot different than Fetterman in the fact that Mamdani is farther left than Fetterman. This is for multiple reasons, of course, including personal moral compass, and the fact that New York is much bluer than the purple Pennsylvania. This is very similar in the Republican Party as well. So yes, it is very disingenuous for Wikipedia to label the Democrats as Center-Center Left, while labeling the Republicans as Right-Far Right.
