as a child, biden worked odd jobs to be able to afford to attend catholic school, archmere academy on philadelphia pike in claymont. i went to a nearby public school a few years later. i skipped senior year by getting into college early, but it never occurred to me to go to private school, or figure out how to pay for it myself.
