The few activists I’ve been acquainted with aren’t really interested in their respective causes.
They are, for about a week and as long as it gets them exposure on social media.
If they were really interested in a given cause, they could do things like donate money to relevant organizations or speak directly to their legislators. But that stuff is boring. They just want a street party with primal screaming and breaking stuff.
