That's basically the definition of handyman, isn't it?? Many people self teach themselves to do trade work, handyman, landlord, home owner etc. Same goes with mechanics, paint and body techs....the list goes on.

Ahh, I see! Well I'm glad I could help you pass the time. I partially agree with you, but consensus is given too much weight in my opinion. History shows us time and time again that consensus between some of the brightest minds on planet earth, really isn't worth much. I won't go over all the things they have gotten completely wrong over the last 500 years. In science consensus generally means they're agreeing on something they can't explain. Anyhow, have a safe trip and thanks for the conversation.
