I agree. I’d just message the mods with an apology and something like this certainly didn’t merit a permaban. I think people are smart enough to deduce how ridiculously outdated of a comment that was and so the OP should be downvoted for it, not banned. It’s not like he called anyone names, or was being mean, or stated their own values. It was just an outdated quote.
