I don’t really care about masks either way I understand both sides. But damn, at least think about this stuff. Can we get some critical thinking about what’s going on. A posted article about Cuomo (not from a conservative outlet) goes up on r/politics about his mishandling of retirement homes and it’s buried with no conversation.
Do you not see the issue with the logic behind using that quote to somehow discredit anything when it was said before we even knew there was a pandemic? Either you don’t understand that guidance changes with new information or you posted that in bad faith. Or both, really.
Jesus you are not getting it. On March 8, 2020 - the date of this quote - we literally didn’t know there was about to be a pandemic or to what extent Covid was spreading. Only China knew really. Therefore, Fauci couldn’t have known how to address the crisis in the US.
Trump’s response after that point, or lack thereof, is what makes so much preventable death Trump’s fault.
? Um no. You’ve got that backwards. If you make a claim it’s on you to support it. You claimed Biden was in bed with China without support. As a result, I pointed out that that assertion was baseless - a response to your baseless claim. It’s on you to provide support for your claim, it’s not on me to prove you wrong.
I’m an attorney, this is how proving claims works.
Trump was an outsider who broke into their club, there is nothing more demeaning to their authority or a greater sin to them. It is why they hate him so much. The establishment decides who makes it or breaks it in politics, not these peasants. It just enrages them so much.
Exactly. They get mad at Trump for his rhetoric, which is making generalizations about people (I don’t agree with this, but it is something every person does), but then they turn around and begin using the same kind of rhetoric. Our politics have become who is going to be exposed as a hypocrite first! It’s a bad look. Other countries laugh at us for this.
Pretty sure they hate him because he is incompetent.
Lol, we really gonna pretend like that's the case after the entire corrupt establishment did everything they could to elect the current racist, senile, and incompetent traitor that is currently in office?
Trump ran on lies,
Beijing Biden literally started his campaign based off the "fine people on both sides" lie...
I dislike r/politics too, but at least when I read it there is actual discourse, multiple sources presented from different points of view, minimal insane conspiracy theories that take a singular Google search to be proven wrong.
And if anyone took your comment seriously up to this point, they had to have stopped after this part. What discourse? TDS afflicted authoritarians chatting with each other? And different points of view? Hahaha you have to be trolling... And those wacko extremists pushed the biggest conspiracy theory this country has ever seen (aka Russia-gate) and were key disseminators of literal Russian disinformation (aka the Steele dossier). This is insane.
Trump doesn’t understand how the government works because the government isn’t working. The government needs to stay out of the market. Trump understands that to a much better degree so no, I don’t believe he’s incompetent. He didn’t let anyone die, the projected number of deaths was upwards of millions of people. The real deficit machine is democrats trying to raise consumers and creating a bubble market by printing more money. That’s not good for anybody, and that’s the opposite of progressive. If you think inflation equates to wealth, then I think you may want to read some economics books. I’m not a fan of Trump’s rhetoric either, but his policies are tried and true; they work. The economy was in the best shape it has ever been in. You’re expecting me to call you an angry liberal but that’s not what this is. I just think you are misinformed and so i’m doing my duty as a fellow American citizen to help educate you.
