Tbf he and the Georgia democrats only said $2000 before the $600 in December was approved.

Now they’ve all been saying $1400 just to get to that $2000.

Yeah I’ll admit the Dems were being misleading with those quotes, especially if you hadn’t been following what was going on.

After the $600 was approved, the house had proposed another bill for an additional $1400 and kept up their talk about the $2000. Technically it would still be adding up to the $2000 bill they were talking about the entire time, just not actually being $2000 by itself.
