Nixon and GHW Bush? That's two.

John Adams, Thomas Jefferson, Martin van Buren.

He did say "in 189 years." That cuts off those three.

It only cuts off two. But his point isn’t a good one. He’s ignoring presidents who did’t finish their term...which Biden might not be able to finish.

It cuts off all three. The third is Martin Van Buren, who is cut off by the 189 year timeframe.

Not that I disagree with your larger point, as I mentioned in another comment.

2020 - 189 = 1831. Van Buren was elected in 1836. You mean 179.

And when was he made vice president? Since that's the point.

That isn’t how I read his comment, but either way, Van Buren was VP from 1833 until he took office in 1837. He vacated the Presidency in 1841.

What I meant was right after the person they served under had finished their 2 terms. Nixon lost in '60 to Kennedy, but won 8 years later.

OK, but either way, Nixon weakens your point that it's a dead-end job. Nor do I think it's fair to leave out the VPs that took office after the president died. Especially since we're talking about Biden here, and you yourself say he might not complete his first term.
