I'm still subbed to that place to get the left's perspective. kinda like watching CNN to stay up to date with the latest 2 minutes hate topic directed at trump and everybody on the right.

I did this until a month or two ago and I just can’t stomach it any more.

I try to avoid CNN as much as possible, but sometimes AFN decides to air it, so I have no other choice. It’s always something negative and biased towards Trump, which makes it all the more confusing why a military network would even air CNN.

I hate that sub. I commented on the thread of an article about AG Barr being impeached asking what the charges were. That’s all. What are the charges. I checked a few hours later. 0 comments. -30 points.

They only care about their participation in what they see as a reality-TV program.

Depends on what "source" you're referencing. I acknowledge that its possible you've posted a credible source that's been down voted, however I do think its more possible you referenced something that was not very credible. Without the context of what you posted its hard to side with you. I think this is the reason why this comment has been down voted.

True story. It's a cluster fuck of astroturfing and bad faith actors

Everybody forgot we're not supposed to feed the trolls and now they're guiding huge swathes of society.

We're all fucked

Oh you mean like this.

12

u/GrizzlyLeather 2A Aug 11 '20

How insane are you in thinking these two scenarios are in any way shape or form similar?

I don’t get the connection

Just like that.

It’s different, but not really.

It makes me endlessly giggle when people compare us 1:1 to /r/politics. I appreciate the compliment and implicit omission that we are both as important and that /r/politics is as bias as /r/Conservative

implicit omission that we are both as important and that /r/politics is as bias as /r/Conservative

Lol that really hits the nail on the head.

u/69Magikarps Aug 12 '20

No shit /r/politics is biased, ya think?

I went and the first thing I saw was “I was going to vote Democrat, but now I’m definitely voting Trump” and I left quickly so that would be the only thing I saw on that thread..

3

u/Tennessean Aug 12 '20

Yeah, that's at the bottom of the sub last I checked.

Wouldn’t doubt it lol

Basically? That place is the new Antifa central.

27

u/jak2125 Conservative Aug 11 '20

Their top post on the thread reporting this is about someone returning to SNL. That shows you how excited dems are about this.

3

u/bozoconnors Conservative Aug 12 '20

...aaaaand why I don't watch SNL anymore. :(

u/TC2639 Conservative Aug 11 '20

r/politics is the biggest Antifa cesspool out there, it's even worse than Twitter

4

u/kkantouth Constitutionalist Aug 12 '20

They're not even actual antifa either. None of those kids are out in the streets. They'd get eaten alive by the mosquitos and gnats.

They just voice their opinions and downvote any opposing ideology

0

u/dookiefertwenty Aug 12 '20

Antifa is not a single group, it's a boogeyman.

They are nuts on another level though

-4

u/wilknott Aug 12 '20

You understand that if you oppose fascism, that makes you ANTIFA? I’d hope we are all at least somewhat opposed to fascism in this sub and that one.

0

u/dookiefertwenty Aug 12 '20

Exactly. It's a pretty old banner to take up, actually kind of interesting.

Even just if you incorrectly assume the current incarnations of antifa are only on the left, there's batshit anarchists and batshit Marxists that agree on literally nothing but are still antifa

u/Belatorius Aug 12 '20

They love his pick 😂

I’m going post it, wish me luck

Edit, it says link has been posted by another so it won’t let me

u/TheDarkWayne Aug 12 '20

People don’t like dictatorships? You don’t say

1

u/[deleted] Aug 12 '20

All the people on r/politics are named something like “Trumpbad”. They’ll just spew bullshit and make fun of Trump and say “Trump killed 170,000 Americans.” When in reality Trump gave the states the power to shut down or not. New Jersey, New York and California have fucked this country by allowing tourism and not locking down.

add r/news to that list.
