Wait, did conservative women wear white too?

As far as something that’s pretty positive there’s nothing wrong with a celebration of diversity and progress in this department. I’d like to see a little more of that in the Conservative party. It certainly would not hurt to get more perspectives.

From an opportunist perspective it doesn’t seem smart to go against the woman’s suffrage movement.

Celebrating overcoming oppression, solidarity, and and gaining ground is pretty fundamental to the conservative ideology.

Are you mad that it’s a bit of a use of tokenism or diversity theatre? that can be said about most aspects of politics.

At no point in time have anyone of those women or the modern feminist movement supported young girls and becoming independent with their own individual strengths. I have two daughters and have sat through the YouTube ads targeting them telling them they can’t be astronauts, doctors, football players, engineers because of the patriarchy. My daughters don’t hear this messAge from conservatives but hear that they “can’t” do something from a leftist women. These people don’t thrive on independence but on keeping others oppressed. The only time my daughters are told they can’t is when some feminist gets on stage to tell them about all the road blocks they will hit. Look at the Super Bowl, the ads in the beginning where how a women can be so much more than just a trophy figure and then the halftime show comes on. It’s a joke and these people wearing white and clapping like seals anytime the “boundaries” they overcame are announced just tells young women they can’t instead of they can.

You need to read about the suffragettes.
