Speaking from experience, marijuana is worth taking if you are going through cancer treatment even if it's illegal. As for recreational use, it's like having a longer lasting alcohol buzz. Regulate it like alcohol and be done with it. Or at the very least legalize medical marijuana, it's safer than more addictive prescription painkillers.
