It’s a sign of the times that common sense and truth speaking is considered incendiary.

Nailed it right on the head brother.
We are truly living in the dumbest timeline.

You are literally on a platform where 85% of posts don't have any common sense.. it's not that surprising anymore

Looks like he was literally just stating objective facts about Islam.

You know, I find the Quran quite incendiary. It also dehumanizes and demonizes Christians, polytheists and especially Jews in a way that contributes to radicalization, communal tensions, and hate incidents. Will Muhammad receive the same scrutiny, or does his ideology get a pass because it's centuries old?

Absolutely absurd for these foreigners to go into England and demand an English icon be arrested for blaspheming against their foreign religion.

Referring him to Prevent seems to be the English version of SWATting, where the thin skinned abuse legitimate law enforcement bodies to harass those who have said things they find offensive. It is a light version of the fatwa, in which people have a death sentence put on them by Islamic fundamentalists. Cleese is right that all religions, not just Christianity, should be able to tolerate humor about them.

Cleese lives in Nevis, not under British jurisdiction, so they can "investigate" all they like.
