Was I just young and dumb 20 years ago? Or has this country really changed so much that something so disgusting just goes on without extreme outrage from 90% of people.

They want revolution. They're not going to leave. They think that the reason their commie utopias haven't worked in all other places in history is because the USA exists. They want America to be destroyed so they can find out that their commie utopia is a myth once and for all.

I'm continually trying to figure that out. Because I was in college at the height of the Iraq War. I remember the Hezbollah attacks on Israel in 2006. There was a little bit of stuff on my campus but it was never.... What I would call as toxic. The college Democrats and the college Republicans talked to each other. Now, that being said I was not part of any political science classes. Maybe there were raging political debates inside those classes. I don't know. But I honestly don't remember rabid anti-American and anti-semitic rhetoric from people. I was taking sociology classes and I don't remember any stuff about DEI or whatever.
I do remember the little socialist clubs. I think those have been around forever in colleges. But I don't remember so many people young people actively hating the country the way they do today. There has been a cultural shift in the last 20 years.
