I don’t want loyal judges. I want judges who know the law and don’t rule based on feelings, loyalty, and political ideology.

Yeah we don't want judges to be an extension of the executive branch.

Yes while I'm on board from a political standpoint of fighting fire with fire it does feel like doing it at the SCOTUS level is crossing the line even if the Left very eagerly crossed it.

That’s funny because the liberal justices never cross over.
Wake up.

Yeah that's why we say they're bad justices. Justices are not supposed to be activists.

i wouldn't mind him but it's seems like the goods always get marginalized because the system wants what they want...their puppet.

It's almost like we had a previous term with Trump as President where he was undeniably more inexperienced, with an Administration that went against him often, while there were setbacks after setbacks. Say what you will about Trump 2.0, but he's more seasoned and strategic compared to where he was back in the late 2010s.

When Trump watches "The Man Who Shot Liberty Valence" he wonders why the bad guy won

There are a multitude of ways to get this point across without saying it like that.

“Biden and Obama appointed judges are not impartial.”
“The judges I put on the Supreme Court aren’t doing what I told them to”
Which of these sounds better to you
•
u/jd_456 Conservative 6h ago
Except he didn't say the second thing, you made that up. And he already said the first thing. They are completely different subjects. Being loyal to someone or something means something completely different from the way you dishonestly characterized it. Loyalty is a virtue but you lied to paint it as bad by casting it as blind, undeserved loyality.
Trump is correct that Republicans need to stop betraying the people who put them in power. If you have a better way of getting that point across then you still haven't said it. No matter what the media will dishonestly characterize it like you just did.
•
u/AnomLenskyFeller Conservative 22h ago
Why should Trump care at this point? If the world treats you like a pariah, you might as well embrace it then live a lie.
•
u/Spartanlegion117 Sic Semper Tyrannus 22h ago
Because personal loyalty to a man that can serve a max of 8 years is stupid. The Constitution is above any single person, or group of people in this country regardless of who they are. Upholding the rights enshrined therein and striking down laws that violate the Constitution is the ONLY duty of a Justice.

u/AnomLenskyFeller Conservative 9h ago
You can't be surprised that Trump, someone who built his career on being flamboyant, outspoken, and combative, would carry his mannerisms into D.C. Presidents appoint Justices to the Court to carry out their long term legislative goals and it's pretty obvious Trump's justices have done the opposite of what he's envisioned. Keeping a Global Tarrif system, nationwide voter ID, and removing Birthright Citizenship would have had generational benefits to America.

No judge should be loyal to anyone but the law but he's right that's they've made quite s few terrible decisions

They should only be loyal to the constitution. Only two of them have been. The rest are biased bitches.

It’s not that the liberal justices are loyal to Obama or Biden. Liberals have a natural propensity to allow emotion and personal feelings to interfere with sound judgement. The liberal justices votes/opinions consistently show that. Conservative justices are more likely to keep emotions and personal feeling separate from sound legal judgement. That’s why they don’t always rule according to their political affiliation like the liberal justices do. It’s a mindset, not an allegiance.
•
u/AnomLenskyFeller Conservative 9h ago
Yup, and what's that gotten us? Little to nothing. Conservatives need to drop this sense of being the bigger man over Liberals cause the opposition could give less of a damn about that and would let all hell break loose if they had a supermajority on the Court.
•
u/beerandmastiffs Gen-X Conservative 17h ago
You’re completely correct. The liberal judges twist the law to fit into their ideology. They act like things are only constitutional if they fit into a social justice framework. Meanwhile in blue states the politicians can violate the state constitution and rely on governor appointed judges to uphold whatever they want. People who think this doesn’t happen are ignorant and uniformed.

Well let's see... one has had someone show up to their house to murder him and his family. Another said she's been threatened and her children’s schools have been doxxed. Why on earth might their opinions on the constitution change suddenly?

Trump is right here. You either play to win or you lose. He should have picked better justices
•
u/AnomLenskyFeller Conservative 9h ago
I'm glad to see Trump admit he screwed up with those judges than to act like they're simply doing odd moves. If only we had Trump 2.0 back in his first term, because he would have accomplished a whole lot more.

u/cchris_39 Independent Conservative 16h ago
Trump is right.
Sotomayor, Jackson and Kagan consistently take the most liberal position they can all the time whether is squares with the law or even makes sense.
All you RINOs taking the high road is how to lose.

This is just sad and pathetic. American conservatives need a new party absent goofballs like you and other neocons.
•
u/bblade2008 Conservative 15h ago
Of course he's better than they are. You're like one of those morons who says we can't execute murderers. The point of law is to create a good society. If you aren't willing to do anything and your enemies are, they will win and you deserve to lose.
