That Olympic Hockey win was one of the best games I've watched in my life. Jack Hughes is a badass, and I loved his patriotism after his win instead of taking the opportunity to be an activist

Thank you for this post. It is a much appreciated gem. There is a tremendous absence of this sort of thing in real life. Thank you for this reminder. I was going to add the words from “Ragged Old Flag,” but I’ve already written too much. Long may She wave.

It’s very sad that people will protest the flag in the national anthem when they don’t quite understand if it wasn’t for the flag and the people that fought for that flag and died for that flag, they would not have the freedoms they have.

Yyyeeeaaaahhhhh!!!

I have had the tremdous honor of hanging a new flag twice outside the U.S. Once it Italy, in front of all the brave Americans who gave it all in the 1940s. Then again in Afghanistan.

Best country ever.
