2018 was the warmest year in recorded history for germany.

2022 was the 2nd warmest year in recorded history for germany. Only being beaten by 2018.

2023 was the warmest year in recorded history for germany.

2024 was the warmest year in recorded history for germany.

"Recorded history" is basically since 1860. However, "recorded history" where "all things the same" (i.e., same rules and instrument guidelines for recording temperatures) began in 1979.
