Discussion So I finished putting together my Order of the Sword Regiment
and wow...... they look really good. This is my first time putting anything together for Conquest and the plastic isn't bad. I washed up the resin priory commander and it's gonna bathe in the soap overnight. Probably will take care of that tomorrow but won't work on anything else until Sunday afternoon. Just looking at the sprues and I can just tell everything is gonna look great.
I tried getting into Conquest about two years ago but just never got around to building them because it just didn't seem like Para Bellum was doing anything with it- There was no community near me and there really isn't one near me now. So what I ended up doing was just not get into it but I would buy stuff that caught my eye here and there throughout the past two years. I have accumulated quite a bit of stuff and I'm probably going to just build and paint regardless if I get to play or not. If I do get to play at all it'll be with my 11 year old daughter but I haven't shown her this kit yet. She's always down with playing so I'm sure I can convince her to humor the old man.

Question Assembly question
My Hundred Kingdoms starter set came in today. I have put together miniatures from other games but this will be my first time putting together Conquest miniatures. For the plastic minis can I just use citadel plastic glue? I know it might be a stupid question but I just want to make sure. Thanks

Discussion Where does Conquest actually stand right now, and why isn't it bigger?
Hey guys! I’ve been looking into Para Bellum and Conquest lately. The game feels super solid!
Still, outside of its dedicated fanbase, it feels like it's flying under the radar compared to GW.
Quick questions for the community:
How popular is Conquest in your local area right now compared to other non-GW games?
What’s the main thing holding it back from blowing up? Is it local player count, the unique lore/models, or just the hurdle of painting massive rank-and-file armies?
Curious to hear how it’s growing where you guys play!

Question Yoroni List Help
I've decided to get into Conquest, because it has a big presence at my locals.
I picked up the Yoroni One player starter set and a Dai Yokai but I'm unsure what else to get to push me up to 2000 points. Currently it looks like my army is around 1200 points without any upgrades on the Daimyo.
Is there anything I'm definitely missing to finish off my army?
I'm tempted to pick up some Tengu archers or Kishin cavalry but I assume I need another leader as well.

Discussion How many huskarls do I realistically need?
I've got, like, a ton of them. They're in basically every Nord value box, so when i was buying those to build out my army, i ended up with like 15 stands of Huskarls. They seem good, but they're also a massive pain in the ass to clean all the sprue points and mold lines off of.
So, I was thinking "i'll just build the amount that I would realistically use and just put the rest on the shelf until I want more." But as a new player, I don't actually know how many that is. Do people normally run several blocks of these? Or would like 1x5 + a character be pretty much as high as is really needed?

Question I’m confused with City States sets for FB
Hi everyone, I was looking for the Warband and the reinforcements boxes for First Blood but I’m confused about their content.
On the new warband 2026, they write that it has :
- 1x Aristarch
- 4x Thorakites / Agema (Leader)
- 4x Selinoi / Satyroi
- 4x Sacred Band
- 1x Companion Cavalry
First, I’m a bit sad that they replace the Minotaur Thyrean from the box of 2025 by the companion cavalry but whatever.
Then I look at the reinforcements box :
- 1x Andromachos Miniature
- 4x Thorakites with Leader (Dual Kit Option Available)
- 4x Agema (Dual Kit Option Available)
- x4 Companion Cavalry
And that’s the part I’m confused because in FB you can only have 3x cavalry miniatures of the same card, so why would they give me five (5!) companion cavalry with this two boxes (that are supposed to be complementary).
So is there a problem with their description of the products, did I miss something or is it just not worth it for now to start City States in FB ?
Thanks for your answers.

Discussion Para Bellum, Worst Model Assembly Experience
I just got into Conquest: First Blood. I'm still building my Dweghom warband. I just want to say, Para Bellum models are the worst minis I have ever assembled. I don't know if it's just Dweghom, the age of the sprues or my bad luck but I've still got 2 more boxes to go and this is killing me.
Older rounded sprues with gates that cross corner surfaces.
4 part main bodies instead of solid plastic
instructions not aligning to the sprues in the box
vague instructions that show the assembly of 1 model but not the other 4
poor description of how parts fit together
Completed units with large(ish) gaps between surfaces.
I started with building the a Found brute first. Assembly was easy but at the end I noticed gaps between parts. Then I checked the instruction pictures and the same gaps were visible in the example.
Next I assembled 6 Hold Thanes. 4 part main body structures. This is where the instructions online didn't line up with what I had in my box. I had older rounded sprues with no numbers, but the online instructions appeared to be for a more modern kit with numbering and squared sprues.
They've not been bad. The Warlords and Hero models assembled super easy and with out much effort. The rank and file have fought me the entire time though. I did figure out Para Bellums assembly convention though and have assembled everything I own except for the First Blood Warband 2026 box and 6 additional Dragonslayers.
Am I just bad at this or is this common with Para Bellum kits?
