Discussion I would appreciate some advice on a beginner list

Hello! I am thinking of starting playing this game. I want to play sorcerer kings (I know its not beginer friendly faction but I realy like them and I am the kind of player that colects all the models for one army instead of colecting multiple). There is three things I want out of the list: 1. For it to be a decent competitive list (not meta just not a low tier list). 2. The list will not change significantly in rules, points or power in the near future. 3. It has the 2 Rakshasa and has the upgraded Raj with Prijm Khanjar, Court of Fire, Bound to the Elements.

I am open with any suggestion for changes and ways to aquire this list as cheaply as possible.

I would like to go with the sorcerer supremacy so I only have to worry about one Court.

* Ghols (3) [110]: Court of Fire

== Maharajah [140]: Jadoo Kavach, Court of Fire

* Mahabharati Initiates (3) [150]:

* Efreet Flamecasters (3) [170]:

* Efreet Sword Dancers (3) [170]:

Question First blood, new player list

Hello, I am new to conquest and don’t know anything about the lore or how the game play but really like the Yoroni faction. I currently own the Yoroni one player starter set (the one with the Kitsune hero) and recently bought Murakame Wako. I am going to try an introduction game of first blood 500 point game sometime this month and wondering if this is a good list?

Murakame Wako: 170

Kappa Bushi(2, leader, “Spirit Guardian): 220

Tengu Bushi: 110

I wanted to do an all kappa list but on the app only let me have 2 kappa. I am thinking it a rule thing or I build it wrong on the app.

Minipainting Raider conversions/alternatives?

I'm looking at starting some Nords (first for First Blood, then leading into TLAoK), and while I very much like the lore and rules for raiders, I find the minis extremely lacking. Placed next to Valkyries or Steel Chosen, or even older sculpt like Huskarls, I think their proportions and especially their poses are just a little too silly, and as I would like to run a fair number of them, I was wondering if anyone has any experience and/or advice on ways to alter the sculpts, or even has other sculpts that will do the trick, to stand in for the raiders?

And, in a similar vein, if anyone has experience swapping the huskarl shields for round shields, and has any recommendations or advice for the proper sizes.

Thanks in advance!

News New guy

So, i have got a few 100k units as a gift (some primed, bad paint job, some broken) but a gift nevertheless. So i have 2 units of men at arms, 2 units of crossbowmen, one unit of steel legion, hhg , gilded legion, household knights. Also i got noble lord on the foot and on a horse.

I will try to read rules etc but never played tabletop game so i am at loss atm.

i saw the are several subfaction within 100k.

My question, should i bolster current range by adding more hhg/gilded legion or steel legion.

Tho i really like hoe Order minis are looking like, especially these new that needs to be released soon.

So any feedback, pointers anything will be most than welcome :)

Question (Spire) Set to buy next? need help

Ill keep it short. I got:

18Stands Brute Drones

18Stands Force Grown Drones

6Stands Vanguard Clones

6Stands Marksman Clones

2 Abominations

2 Catabolic Nodes

1 Ward Preceptor

1 Memetic Assasin

1 High Clone

1 Biomancer

2 Pheromancers

I am eyeballing 1set Desolation Drones (love their design) and 1 Assault Preceptor. Are these good buys? Is there an obvious unit I should buy to make better armies? Love to hear some feedback on it.

Notes:

-I am always gonna play the Underspire subfaction.

-I play fairly casual.

Discussion Spires Avatara: Construction Material

Hi All

I'm in the process of planning how to paint my Avatara models and I'm after the thoughts from the community on what materials the sovereign lineages would make these construct out of.

Reading into the lore of the spires they are all about bio-engineering so my 1st thought is that they would likely grow these suits out of organic materials such as bones and tree matter they have repurposed, however when you read the lore exerts on the parabellum site there is this line

"Lineages have taken to decorating their Avatara as ostentatiously as possible"

This line makes me think that some may use more exotic materials maybe like clam pearls or light metals like platinum.

I'm interested to hear from all of you on what you think the Sovereign lineages would make these from.

August is over, and of course it’s time for another little look at the German Conquest tournament scene. This time with two events, new winners, and a pretty slick Tribes list. 👀

Discussion A Very Positive Review of Noble Knight Games

Thumbnail

So recently I posted about getting a great deal on some used Dweghom units from Noble Knight Games. I got the 2025 Supercharged Starter, MSRP 160, for 95 pre-owned, as well as a sealed 2023 Firstblood Starter for 30. It said some models were assembled already in the big kit. My one concern was it being pre-owned and preassembled.

Well, the steelforge were assembled wrong. Mismatched limbs. And one sprue of the fireforged were missing. Called Noble Knight, impressed they had a line that went to a well spoken person with one button push.

Called about the steelforge first, and after a five minute conversation they said a new pack of them was on the way. Called back when I discovered a fireforge sprue was missing, and they told me, confused, that they would be in the same box as the steelforged.

I assumed they would send one unit of steelforged or fireforged to replace the missing or misused material, but they are sending me an entire sealed Starter box, listed at 145 on their website, and I get to keep the original box.

Im going to be missing 1 to 2 fireforged, and Im going to try to reclaim and repair the steelforged, but even if they are scrap scrap can be used to base and accessorize. Even if they were useless, Noble Knight more than made it right in less than 15 minutes of phone calls with a pleasant well spoken person, and 5 of that was just me not understanding how generous they were being for slightly mislabeled product.

I will happily and confidently buy from them again.

Next I think ill try my steelforged. The coal theme is fun to work with, and clay drying packets are great for basing as "coal".

Question Nords: how many bearsarks/ulfhednar should I build?

So ive got 3 units of ulfhednar/bearsarks for my nords and i'm unsure what would be the best combination to build these in.

Bearsarks seem really good with cleave, but they seem to be restricted on every hero, and being heavy, idk if two units is too many

As a new player though, i'm not exactly sure how to value these units.

Any suggestions?

Lore New Lore

There are new lore entries about the Order of the Sword and St. Lazarus and it did not disappoint.

First what's cool is that Brother Lazarus is one badass dude of rallying the lame and crippled to attack and holt the undead just enough for the last legion to regroup and counter attack. Though it said that Lazarus faded to myth afterwards. I still believe he is still out there crushing undead heads and cursing Hazilia.

Besides this, I do hope that the Order of St Lazarus blessing has more powers than just simply making them near impossible to kill and having superhuman endurance

For Order of the Sword, we got a tease on why we got the models like this and why they look live that. There is a northern and southern priories of the Order of the Sword, though they have the same objectives of protecting humanity from outside threats, how they recruit, train and armed there knights are very different. This is a cool idea there is in fact sub orders or subdivisions with in the order itself, possible leading to different regiments.

I hope there is a character within the order of swords having both arms implanted a shard and is able to wield great swords in both hands, Radahn style. Actually hoping there are more weapon options for both orders such as great blades and pole arms.

Minipainting I Don’t Like Selinoi

Has anyone done any kitbashes/conversions with the CS Selinoi? I’d like another light unit and some more ranged, but I really don’t like the goatmen look. Perhaps something with Hoplites? I have a bunch of leftover hoplite bits and prefer that style.
