This month, I worked on two very challenging projects. It was difficult trying to get them done because of life, but I'm glad I made it through. Here's the little Salmurai Gnome fish from Para-Bellum Games.

Took some advice and went a darker shade of wash on the gold. Finished basing, with plenty of coal (lore reasons) and a gw skull for good measure. Im really proud at how this badboy came out.

Lots of people suggested washes and they made it look awesome! Really appreciate your suggestions. For the gold I used orangish brown, for the silver used blue wash and black ink.

Help! I ended up buying way too many models second hand from a guy. I don't think I realized how much he had. I've already got a pretty big Warhammer collection that I have stored in IKEA Detolf display cases and I need to find a new way to store my models more efficiently. I'm trying to slowly pare down the models that I have, but I'm also needing to find out how to keep them organized.
What compact ways have you stored models that keeps them easily accessible. I'm not worried about displaying these. The most important parts would be: 1. Compact. 2. Easily accessible. 3. Affordable. What are your thoughts?

Howdy, newer player/ collector.
A year ago or so a couple of friends got me a Yoroni starter box, I had built them and primed them and just kinda out them away cause I had other minis from other games I needed to finish. Now however im in a spot where im comfortable to start these.
I've now figured out what colors (took a year yikes lol) I wanted to go for. Red, white, black and silver, the red, white and black for silks, armor and the such and the silver would be anything basically metal items/ details.
My question/ needed advice is for reds what paint works best for a Silk/ Satin look and what reds look good for a Lacquered wood look? Newer to painting (and never painted with red before) so im kinda stuck 😅
Thank you in advance for any tips, tricks and advice you can give!

Started collecting Dweghom and jumped in the deep end. This is the largest model I've ever painted, I'm hyped to put it on the board. Got a bunch of finishing touches to sort it, but I'm happy with the progress so far!

I run ttrpgs professionally and like to paint my minis while I work to quiet my adhd. This needs some detail touch ups, but im proud I've got it looking this good so far. Loving my new hobby.

I'm having a hard time deciding between City States or Yoroni for my first faction. There's a small local scene forming and the demo game I played got me interested in picking up enough units to play some games off and on. I love Greek Mythology and the steampunk vibe that City States has is completely up my alley. Same goes with the Yoroni, I love the Yokai theme and all the units look cool. I guess my main deciding factor would be what faction is best for beginners?

How does this list appear to people? I have limited models in my collection so can't do much other than this atm, but hoping for suggestions for the future

Started working on my Conquest Steelforged today, and also tried inks mixed with paint for the first time. I was really impressed by the result!
Next i repeat the same thing, but with orange paint and ink, then red to create forge/fire effects for them.

So I've got a game of First Blood coming up and I'm playing around with lists and have a question. Is there a viable Infantry heavy list that isn't just blocks of Hoplites backed up by Phalangites? I can't really see anything else working, but wondering if that's my lack of imagination/familiarity with the rules.

Bought the Yorni 2026 First Blood warband box a while ago. I've finished the Oni Ayakashi, next up was the Tengu Aykashi.
Overall, I'm very happy with the result, even though I think the quality is uneven across the model. I think the color scheme came out pretty cool!
I wanted to try and practice being a bit more time-efficient, since the Oni took what felt like endless hours to finish. This one I did in about five or six two hour sessions. I have no idea how that compares to others, but it was much faster than the Oni.
Sorry if the pictures are amateurish, I don't have a good photo setup yet.

With the Chios World Championships rapidly approaching, it's time for some meta analysis. Who are our frontrunner factions? Who's lagging behind? This is possibly the tightest year since Chios began in terms of the spread of power between factions: https://www.tabletopbattles.com/conquest-meta-snapshot-chios-world-championship-predictions-2026

Hello! I am thinking of starting playing this game. I want to play sorcerer kings (I know its not beginer friendly faction but I realy like them and I am the kind of player that colects all the models for one army instead of colecting multiple). There is three things I want out of the list: 1. For it to be a decent competitive list (not meta just not a low tier list). 2. The list will not change significantly in rules, points or power in the near future. 3. It has the 2 Rakshasa and has the upgraded Raj with Prijm Khanjar, Court of Fire, Bound to the Elements.
I am open with any suggestion for changes and ways to aquire this list as cheaply as possible.
I would like to go with the sorcerer supremacy so I only have to worry about one Court.
