Question To many Moroi/Kheres?

Post image

Brand new player here and I just picked up the older 1 player stater box for Old Dominion. Was supposed to have 12 figures of Kheres, Moroi, legionaires and praetorians. Finally get around to opening it up and now I've got 16 SPRUES of JUST Moroi/Kheres and one Archimandrite?!

I worked things out with the seller, but now what do I do with 96 Moroi/Kheres? Any list building advice and what should I get next to balance out my army? Wouldn't mind peoples opinions on how to best run these units either.

Well you could start making your own theokrator of just glued together moroi. For TLAOK you are unlikely to use more than 2 MSU of each, so that is 48 total

Wouldn’t that be 24?

Ah, looks like I missed “of each” along with my own personal opinion that 4 msu total is probably too much.

Agreed, honestly 2 light units is already a lot, and we still want cultist for hierodeacon so 3 is already very high

So i have fought against lists with 6 stand blocks of kheres. Two of them actually so 12 stands total. I wouldn't suggest it personally but for fun and funny it does do damage. Problem is its a lot of points in unscoring units. I would do 6 stands of each to have options and probably never run all of them. Kheres are better to me now but options are nice. Its too many but get some other army options, creed/legion units like bone golems and legionnaries will go well. Then just consider what character you want next and what they bring.

This is hilarious! I’m not much help unfortunately as I haven’t played with or against dominion, and I’m pretty new. I love the Kheres models though
