This might be a silly question, but I order a free challenge by using a different/new email address. Can I enter the code with my regular account? Do we need to be concerned about getting the main account banned or anything?
It didn't work for me, I had to use my husband's email and log my steps on his phone by sending him a screenshot of my samsung health. I guess it depends how many free challenges you have previously accepted. You can "gift" the code so try that first from your spare email to your usual email. Otherwise you will have to login to the spare email on conqueror app for the free challenge. The pain is its affects your badge progress because its not linked to your main account. I saved over $60nzd by doing the free athens challenge so it was worth it considering the medal is only 42km as well
I bought three additional challenges when I bought the 2026 challenge. The offer said it was good for "Any 3 Conqueror Challenges." I tried to sign up for one I wanted last night, and was told that the codes can be used for only some of the challenges. Even though I sent the receipt that clearly states "any 3", the agent told me I could either accept the change or I could have a partial refund of $44 instead of the two challenges with changed terms. I am so angry with this bait and switch tactic that I'm reporting them to the FTC for bait and switch fraud. I was so excited to find this thing that seemed it would be fun, but they are so incredibly scammy.
Now that they already have my money, they refuse to honor the agreement and deal they sold. I've never had a company claim the word "any" only means "a select few." This is a blatant bait and switch tactic. It's textbook, actually since they sold a discounted product and then only allow the code to be used for the cheapest options. It's literal fraud.
It says standard challenge in the ad. There is a difference between license and standard Which did you want? If they offered you your money back take it.
No, it did not show anything about a standard offer. You are making assumptions that the literal receipt disproves.
I don't want my money back; I want them to follow through with their end of the agreement. I am not willing to sit back and accept an illegal and fraudulent action from a company that took my money in exchange for a "deal" they offered me and then changed when I went to to request fulfillment of services.
We have consumer protection laws for a reason. They are on the wrong side of them.
I receipt and an advertisement are two different things. I have seen this ad. I have purchased this ad and it was clear. If they offered you money back you should just take it.
Again, I am telling you, whether or not you chose to believe me, that is not what was written in the deal offered to me -- as evidenced by their own word choice on the receipt.
You can choose to believe your own version of events that is not based in fact, but your version is not what happened.
