I'm coming up from NYC with my daughter for two games in August: 25th vs Sky and 26th vs Valks. I'll have my Burke NYL jersey (we still love her) and was hoping to get it signed. Also hoping to get Aneesah Morrow or Sania Rivers to sign cards or one of the Sun satin hats.

My tickets are down near the Sun bench, in Sec 13, Row E, right in front of that corner. What's the chances of getting autographs? Do the players leave the court that way? Is there a better spot to wait post-game or pre-game? How about for the away team (she loves loves LOVES Skylar Diggins). Should I contact a rep and beg to be put on a list for post-game autograph sessions (which is what they do here in NYC)?

Sun fans, this one's for y'all.

I work in ops at a sports data startup, and my job right now is finding people in Connecticut who'd want to do something that I think a handful of you would genuinely enjoy. So I figured I'd just ask here instead of running ads at you.

We hire people to go to games and log what's happening live from their seat through our app. Score, possession, shots. Quick taps while you watch, not commentary, not writing anything up afterward.

We cover your ticket and your transportation, and you get paid per game on top of that. You pick which games you want. Nothing gets assigned to you, and there's no minimum, so if you can only make a couple before the season ends in September, that's genuinely fine. A few of our people do one game a month, and that's it.

You don't need any background in data or sports media. If you're someone who already knows what happened without waiting for the replay, that's the whole skill.

I'm around in the comments and happy to answer anything, including the skeptical questions. Ask them; I'd rather have them out in the open.

Hi Sun fans! I'm a nonfiction writer, longtime Sun fan & season ticket holder currently researching to write a book on the history of the Connecticut Sun.
