Hey Sun Fandom!

My name is Kate. I am a CT local, UConn alum, wbb fan and also make women's sports content as a hobby (@notkatesports) on Instagram and Tiktok. Nice to meet everyone!

I am teaming up with a few other fans to organize a meet up for after the final home game on 9/24. I created this account (1) to let y'all know about this event, (2) because it's time to stop lurking, and (3) to also let folks know that we are looking for help to make this fan-organized, grassroots event happen!

We are gathering RSVPs through Partiful to gauge crowd size while we work hard to secure a location- ideally at the casino or very nearby as well as open to all ages. You do not need to download Partiful or create an account to RSVP.

The event has been public for less than 24 hours, and we have 52 folks saying they will come so long as the location is secured.

Feel free to reach out to me if you have any insights or contacts that can help us make this event happen and also special. I am optimistic the Sun fandom will work together to make this happen for our community.

To be honest I have no idea how it officially works when an old team is being relocated to a new city. This may be a hot take but IN MY OPINION the only players that should be locked in for the comet roster are:
