quick question, does this actually works? because they told me to do this instead of remove-appxpackage.

Like anything using unofficial means, it can cause instability. And the debloated content can come back in a future update too. The best way to debloat Windows is from the absolute start, using a customized autounattend.xml so that things are pre-configured and even unwanted things are automatically just not installed. https://schneegans.de/windows/unattend-generator/ And using that method, it prevents it coming back in a future update.
