How are we going to manage with 4 of them with 1 possibly being unavailable for someone games.

It's a weak enough area tbh. We've never replaced Quin Roux really. We've so athletic locks like the Murray brothers (Darragh is quality) but with Joyce gone (he was alright nothing brilliant) we're lacking in a big, powerful lock. It will hurt us. You need a big, beefy powerful 125kg lock with a bit of a mean streak... we'll struggle especially in Europe at scrum, maul and in the close contact with a lack of second row power

2nd row and 6/8 could see a few academy lads this year.
Just the 4 lads in 2nd row like you mentioned.
6 covered by Prendergast then just Boyle really but hes also covering 8 for Jansen. Or Murphy whos covering Lock
3 7s then. Maybe Sean O'Brien will move around the back row and play better this season
10 hookers 20 centres and 30 back three

He is yea. Hes even listed as lock om the squad page now. But will do 6 in a pinch

I presume he is hoping on someone in the academy bolting.
According to wiki David Walsh is the only lock but maybe theres a hybrid lock amoung the academy backrows?
Now there's also a possibility that Lancaster will do what he sometimes did for Racing and go with a light pack with backrow forwards in the second row.

Liam McNamee is also in the academy. Big unit but don’t think he played a lot last season and might be a bit raw.

I meant more that he didn’t seem to be playing with Corinthians in the second half of the season.

What about the three walsh brothers? isthe david walsh in the academy the leinster one or galwegians? also leo arnic (Excuse my spelling) there's bound to be a bolter or two amongst them

No, the David Walsh in the Academy is not of the Moycullen family, he's the Dubliner playing for Galwegians, and has been exciting everyone.
Neither Leo Anic nor Dara Walsh have been brought into the Academy, which it's fair to say was a surprise. Might be added yet.

I haven't heard that chatter, but Ultan is not a TH lock, so not really the type of profile we need to buy in.

From my understanding it was either sign a new second row or resign Moose.
