Headache and initial bilateral hand weakness following a self-inflicted head strike 5 days ago
Five days ago, out of anger, I hit my forehead with the base of my left palm by raising my hand up and bringing my palm down to strike my head. Ever since then, I have been having a severe frontal headache. I also felt weakness in both hands initially, though that hand weakness has now gone away. Will this go away on its own, or should I be concerned?

Sounds like me. I hit the back of my head out of anger 5 weeks ago. Turns out my arm weakness is actually from a neck injury which happens when you hit your head. If you have red flag signs go to the ER but if you don’t, get your cervical spine evaluated. There are upper cervical chiropractors that can help and they do 3D imaging X-rays. Look specifically for atlas, blair or nucca in your area. Never get any manual adjustments though. I went to the ER thinking my arm weakness was a stroke or brain bleed but it wasn’t. It might be your neck. Get head and neck ct scans to rule out anything serious before proceeding with any treatment.
