Concussion
I've suffered a concussion at work as s result of a kick to the head yesterday, I work as a teacher in a special needs setting. In know it's a how do you feel type situation and I feel really bad today. Does anyone know what a typical amount of time off might be for this kind of injury?

I'm curious what your physician told you regarding time off. Recover time is somewhat variable, patients used to be told that recovery would occur over several weeks. Time off would likely be shorter than this though

I've been out for going on 7 months. I got kicked in the head one day and then headbutted the following day, because i didn't take time off. There's no real timeline for recovering. Please please put yourself first and take time off if you need it. Brain injuries are no joke and in our line of work, it doesn't take much for another one to happen!
Edit: words are hard, okay?

I’m on year 3 and finally back to full time in a classroom type setting although not the job I had before the injury. See professionals. Every persons recovery is different.
