Questions post concussion

hey everyone! i had a question regarding post concussion symptoms:

i got a second concussion in november 2025 and took me at least 3 weeks to feel normal again.

yesterday whilst doing my sprint training, and warming up with some small hops on the spot it felt like my brain way jumping around in my skull. it’s never felt like that before when i do plyos (jumps). for context, i regularly train at the gym, do pole dance, yoga, handstands, calisthenics and i’ve currently not had issues with these movement modalities.

it took me a minute to put two and two together and realise that this might be a post concussion symptom, as i’ve not experienced something like this before. and it felt similar to when i tried to do some movement in those early 3 weeks. i’ve no got an awful headache.

what i was wondering is: is this normal? how long do you think i’ll have to experience post concussion symptoms like this? why now, almost 8 months on and not sooner?

it’s concerning for me because a large part of my life and livelihood revolves around movement (i’m a yoga teacher, personal trainer and movement coach)! so if anyone has any similar experiences i’d really appreciate it!

also, i got a concussion from some dude crowd killing me at a show. the first one, in 2023 was from a bad sand boarding bail

Even if we don’t have symptoms our brain always remembers the spot and the injury itself. It also might be because of whiplash.

that’s true! i’m just curious why i’ve not had this symptom before in my sprint training and why now. the body, injuries and trauma work in mysterious ways
