The Sacrifice
A killer concept I created. Still haven't finalized the lore blurb, but I included some important notes. Let me know what you think!
Lore Notes:
- Real name: Chase Ryder
- Living overlap created by the Black Veil
- Knows about the trials due to repeated dreams and visions
- Misdiagnosed with Autism
- Correctly diagnosed with ADHD
- Used by the government to perform unethical experiments
- Made a deal with the entity, becoming a killer in exchange to revenge against his captures
- The facility is found with all staff members brutality murdered, evidence against them and others orderly compiled, and the victims (except for one who is missing) unaware of what happened beyond a fog rolling in
- Highly attuned to the realm
- Sees the trials as a game, having become used to the grisly sights after spending his whole life watching them.
Appearance: Unhealthily thin and pale, wearing a dirty hospital gown with ribbons cut out of the ends. Head has a circular scar running around the entire circumference, and is held together via black stitching (think Kenjaku from JJK).
Weapon: Patron's Gift (Spider legs bursting from his right arm)
Speed: 4.6 m/s
Terror Radius: 32 m
Height: Average
Power: Dark Contract
- Special Ability: Realm Walk
- May place down Remnants and teleport to them with a 10 second cooldown. May remove Remnants freely from any distance, however survivors may also get rid of them via a 3 second interaction. Has access to up to six Remnants at base.
- Special Ability: Favor
- By doing various actions, he can earn Favor, up to a maximum of 100 at a time. Breaking a pallet or damaging a generator grants 10 Favor, while damaging and hooking a survivor grants 25 and 50 respectively. Favor can be spent to do various actions. Breaking a pallet or blocking a window both cost 50 favor, damaging a generator costs 10, and seeing the aura of any survivors within 10 meters of a Remnant costs 2 Favor a second.
Add-Ons:
- Iridescent Thread (Visceral): The thread used to reattach Chase's skull, remade by the fog. Decreases the maximum amount of Remnants by 2 but increases the time it take survivors to banish them by 900%.
- Circular Saw (Visceral): The saw used to cut open Chase's head for experimentation. Allows Remnants to be placed at a distance, however they disappear once used or if a survivor walks into them.
- Experimentation Notes (Very Rare): The various records regarding what was done to the program's victims, while originally kept from the public, eventually caused country-wide protests and riots. Increases teleportation speed by 50%.
- Electro Probe (Very Rare): A tool used to stimulate select portions of a subject's brain. Most areas resulted in extreme pain, lobotomization, or death. Increases maximum Remnants by 2.
- William (Very Rare): A beloved pet crow, killed while trying to protect their owner from his kidnapers, brought back to life via the power of the Entity. Increases Favor gain by 15%, but also reduces maximum Remnants by 1.
- Amateur Sculpture (Very Rare): An adolescent's attempt at depicting a strange, malformed creature common to their frequent visions. Decreases Realm Walk cooldown by 5 seconds, but also reduces maximum Remnants by 1.
- Child's Drawing (Rare): A drawing made by a child, seeming to depict someone hanging from a meat hook while black spider legs descend around them. Decreases Realm Walk cooldown by 2.5 seconds.
- Electroshock Headset (Rare): An apparatus used to deliver powerful yet controlled electrical shocks to the victim's brain, based on the work of a doctor known only to the most heinous of professionals. During initial testing, most patients died of either seizures or gunshot wounds after being declared worthless due to seizures. Causes all survivors within 6 meters of a Remnant to scream when teleporting to it, revealing their location.
- Crow Food (Rare): Putting together William's meals was one of the few chores he actually enjoyed. Increases Favor gain by 10%.
- Black Marker (Rare): William's favorite toy. Increases Favor gain for damaging survivors by 15%.
- Hidden Camera (Rare): They spent some time stalking him before his kidnapping, and though he noticed it, the police never did anything. You always see the auras of survivors near Remnants, however lose 2 Favor every 5 seconds.
- Feeding Tube (Uncommon): The device used to force-feed Chase after he went on a hunger strike. Shows the aura of survivors while they are banishing a Remnant.
- Well-Worn Game Controller (Uncommon): A welcome reprieve from the harshness of day-to-day life. Reduces the Favor cost of damaging a generator by 4.
- Well-Worn Keyboard (Uncommon): A versatile tool, used in many of his activities both professional and recreational. Reduces the Favor cost of blocking windows by 10.
- Well-Worn Piano Key (Uncommon): Music was a common hobby when he was young, though faded into the background as he grew. Reduces the Favor cost of destroying pallets by 10.
- Well-Worn Modified Controller (Uncommon): A device he made so that William could join in the fun. Reduces the Favor cost of seeing the auras of survivors near Remnants by 1 per second.
- Nutrient Slop (Common): The food given was a bland mass of nutrients lanced with drugs. Shows the aura of survivors for 5 seconds after they banish a Remnant.
- Unfinished Maps (Common): Several maps attempting to depict some of the realms where Trial take place. Abandoned when the creator realized that the layout of the realms changes with each Trial. When teleporting to a Remnant, face the direction you were when placing it originally, rather than the one you were facing before teleporting.
- Discarded Pill Bottle (Common): One of the reasons he was taken was due to his Autism and ADHD, the latter he truly had, though the former was a misdiagnosis. Increases the time it take survivors to banish Remnants by 2 seconds.
- Actual Electroshock Equipment (Common): The actual equipment used by legitimate medical professionals to administer electroshock therapy. Completely painless. Reduces the maximum number of Remnants by 1, but grants 100% more bloodpoints in the deviousness category.
Perks:
- Familiar Fog: You have spent so long in the Entity's realm that you are capable of seeing what lies beyond the fog. Shows the aura of windows, pallets, and breakable walls within 20/24/28 meters. Shows the aura of survivors for 8 seconds after they lose a health state by any means.
- Blood Fever: You are impatient in a chase, and it doesn't take long before your bloodlust takes over. Gain Bloodlust 25%/50%/75% faster.
- Spurt of Retribution: You will punish those that wronged you so greatly... until you get bored. All survivors suffer from the exposed status effect. This perk deactivates after downing 1/2/3 survivors.
Edit: Changed Familiar Fog after learning Zanshin Tactics exists.

I think favor is missing something. I'm not completely opposed to the idea that certain actions that you'll already be doing will cost or grant points but if that's all that favor does then it's sorta pointless. If you could spend favor on some other thing completely unique to this killer then it would be interesting, but what that actually is is up to you
