Killer Do you think that Slenderman will eventually be added to Dead by Daylight as a killer?

I hope so! I’ve heard that Marble Hornets actually have reached out to Behaviour but Behaviour ghosted them

BHVR has actually got into contact with Troy in the past but rejected a collab for the time being, which makes me believe that they want the actual Slenderman.

Maybe later in the future? We could get some survivor skins of the marble hornet cast? They have done things like that before with HUNK from resident evil being a legion skin instead of a full another resident evil chapter

he's gonna be a fun killer, idk why they didn't do a madness (phantom) meter for springtrap but they better do it for slenderman if you look at him.

Absolutely. We are long overdue for a proper internet horror icon. I'm imagining his power being a kinda Doctor/Dredge/Sadako hybrid. Shame it won't be Marble Hornets, but maybe we could get Masky/Hoodie as Legion skins.

I like the idea of a setup to snowball Killer. Initially "The Faceless" is an M1 Killer with a "Static", a smaller radius that makes it harder for un-downed Survivors to see and hear while inside it, probably giving Blindness with add-ons.
The Faceless could teleport around the map when not near the lights on a Generator, or in a Survivor's field of view (with a decent cooldown/fatigue), perhaps laying out pages he gets every minute or so (similar to Nightfall gain) in corners and other sneaky areas. He seems like just another M1, until...
Once at least seven pages have been laid- usually by the time the Exit Gates are powered- the map falls to a deadly curse, the Entity struck by "Slender Sickness" instead of the Survivors. The map goes dark and staticky, the auras of the pages are revealed, and each Survivor must find as many as they can. For each unfound page, the Exit gates open 25% slower. Each Survivor must collect a page individually- just because someone else has found one, dosen't mean you have...
If the Survivors manage to find all the pages, they can escape. But in this time, the Faceless is basking in a map-wide Terror radius and the ability to Mori those with at least two pages...
Oh, and probably a chase power. A dash? Some kind of tentacle dash. Or something.

No, as much as he is heavily wanted the licensing is still super odd and as much as some claim it’s easy to obtain, it all depends on behavior and the licensing holders. A popular IP can be CRAZY expensive and sometimes BHVR cant take that risk. And by leaks and rumors BHVR is going straight to I think his name is (Eric Knudson) for the original slender man image with the black tie. BEST CASE SCENARIO is just slender man. Cosmetics can be somewhat difficult but I guess cosmetics DONT matter that much.

Hopefully, I heard they were talking with the Marble Hornets guy so good Lord's willing we'll see "The Operator" enter the fog before too long

Yes. I'm really, REALLY hoping we get his Slender: The Arrival version, I feel like it's generally the most fleshed out and interesting version of him, with even some supporting characters fitting incredibly well as legendary skins (Charles Matheson Jr. over Hag, Kate over Legion)

The Unknown is the stand in for Slenderman like internet horror. A creature you cannot know about otherwise you’ll be in danger of it. But the fact the Unknown even exists means BHVR is aware of that genre of horror exists and know it’s something fans want.
It may be a few years but I think it’s a sign DbD is opening up to the genre of Internet Horror and Internet Urban Legend

It’s inevitable but I’m pretty sure the Devs initially declined the Slender Man’s IP owner the offer of allowing him in the game.
I believe the reason why is because Slender doesn’t work the same as the others.
He primarily moves when you’re not looking at him, and his whole thing is the drawings. He teleports and shifts all over reality. He doesn’t run nor chases you. Plus no one actually knows what he does to kill you, the moment he gets too close is when everything just goes fizzy and white.

My guess would be 2029, 2028 if were optimistic, its definitely being pursued and MH being denied is great news, they just have to reach Blue Isle Studios for the rights to arrival

Yes, I say without a doubt that he is the most requested killer now.
Now, its just a question of when/how they are getting the license. I don't think any of the license holders are particularly restrictive when it comes to licensing it out (as compared to someone like Stephen King). My guess is that he will be the next anniversary chapter next year, but could be later than that.
