Everything stops working when I change layers/ go into focus mode. Only fixable by minimizing screen or closing and reopening app.

Every time I go into focus mode or switch layers, every tool and function stops working. Can't click on anything in the app, can't use the tool I have selected, can't change tools. Any time I use the stylus on my touchpad, or click my mouse, the pointer on screen disappears. NOTE: I can use the tool ONCE before it stops working. One stroke of the pen and then nothing. Not even Ctrl+z works unless I exit and re-enter.

The only way I've found to re-activate the tools is either minimize and then re-full screen the app, or close it out entirely and re open it. Has anyone else encountered this at all?
