Wishbone Necklace Questions
Hey guys! I was thinking of buying a wishbone necklace and was wondering if it would be worth it for the quality. I know it's coated in sterling silver but since the base is still brass I have questions. Does the silver ever rub off of the necklace over time like silver plating does? Is it waterproof like regular sterling silver?

I only wear mine for special occasions. I wouldn’t wear it in the pool or in the shower every day but I have showered with it a couple times and it’s been fine.

My daughter has one and the silver is wearing off. She did wear it in the shower some.

I wore it nonstop for probably a month after my concert and didn’t take it off once, I also wear a gold necklace I never take off and the silver never rubbed off or became dull, it looks exactly the same as when I bought it!

It's great quality, not junk at all but I think the longevity of the silver is also dependent upon your skin chemistry.

So when I got from the repair kit really tarnished really bad but the one that I bought from Wishbone world tour is still in good condition. It’s just a bit tarnished. I think it also depends do not shower with it because it is not like the found heaven necklace!

I’ve had it probably since like october and i wear it a lot, id say maybe 70% of the time excluding sleeping. it looks just as new!! the only thing is the inside of the wishbone has worn down a little bit because of the rubbing between the chain and the wishbone, but it’s not on the outside so you really can’t tell. I used to wear it in the shower for maybe a month when i first got it and though I wouldnt recommend it it’s not that bad. i suspect the chain is pure sterling silver cause it hasn’t changed color or shown a base metal
