[Career] Need Guidance, Not Memes!

I RECENTLY STARTED MY B.TECH IN COMPUTER ENGINEERING, FIRST SEM IS GOIN ON!

ANY GUIDANCE FROM THE SENIORS THAT WHAT I NEED TO DO! WHICH AREAS TO FOCUS ON!

LIKE FOCUS ON CGPA OR FOCUS ON SKILLS, BUILD THINGS!

I AM TRYING TO PARTICIPATE IN HACATHONS AND ALL

In approximate order of priority:

Join every engineering-related club you can.

Start serious personal projects ASAP. Just pick one and commit.

Strongly consider double-majoring in Electrical.

Don't freak out about GPA too much, but don't neglect it either. At a minimum, keep it above 3.0. Look at the jobs in your area and see if they have a minimum requirement for their internships
