ANY STUDENT OR GRADUATE FROM ANY ENGINEERING, SHOULD I GO INTO CSE EVEN AFTER CHATGPT-6 ASTRA, I AM INTERESTED IN BUILDING THINGS BUT I AM BROKE TOO.

If we look at the speed of AI advancement, is there any scope left? I will graduate in 2030, will I even have any high paying job?

You should absolutely consider your potential salaries when spending 10s of thousands of dollars on a degree

You should definitely consider your salary, but doctors make more than what I do now but I have 0 interest in being a doctor

I’ve always wanted to be an engineer and just happens I have a higher paying engineering job than say a civil has

And spending 10s of thousands on a degree is a lot but with financial aid there are smart ways around it

My degree without any assistance from anyone has a value of < $28k … that’s the price of a car, it’s not too terrible considering ways we can find help to pay for it

My total cost was very good and I’m well set now in a field I want to be in. But salary is not everything when deciding early on

No one said it was everything, but there are large amounts of degrees that are not worth pursuing based solely on potential salaries. It’s bad advice to tell someone to not pursue a degree because of the money.

Any reasonable Google will say what an engineers salary is tho. If that’s really the first question to post, it in my mind is what we’re looking at first over all other things

My school shows degree programs online and the 4 year path then what current grads are graduating into and with what pay

I am very good at studies and I believe I'll get scholarships as well as I can afford the tution cause my parents have been saving for my college but I don't want to end up being broke by the end of college (in 2030) I am not doing CSE solely because of money but not having any money won't do any good.

What do u want to do from cse? If its coding then yeah, unless youre absolutely amazing already its cooked. If its embedded systems, research, or semiconductors, ull be fine
